Lovely place to stay at & the location was great to explore Knysna.

Knysna is such a lovely place, with Thesen’s Island being my favourite area. Location is great, and is extremely safe as it is a gated community. The house is beautifully kept, spacious, and extremely well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The furniture, décor and general quality of the house is great (especially the lovely main bed!). Faith is such a lovely lady - full of energy and charm. She is incredibly helpful, responsive, and is such a delight. She makes you feel right at home from the moment you arrive, and gives an amazing tour of the house (and some great recommendations of places to go on the island, as well as in the surrounding areas). It was such an amazing stay, would 100% recommend, and would definitely book again!

The most beautiful Airbnb with the option to go on a free SUP or bike ride in the area. Knysna was lovely and this place felt like home and had everything you could wish for - a cozy fireplace, comfy bed and spacious bathroom.

We had a fabulous stay!!! Lauren was extremely responsive and welcoming. The space was absolutely beautiful, neat, private and overall lovely. Anyone looking for some time away & love being surrounded by nature, this is perfect!

The view from the house is absolutely stunning, and the location is brilliant. Morné responded very quickly whenever needed and was super friendly. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed two nights and felt so rested and relaxed on the first day ! Amazingly peaceful and relaxing home. The pool was clean and a definite bonus. 10 out of 10 home to stay in. Morne is exceptional in managing this home and very friendly.

What a wonderful tranquil place to stay! We enjoyed the breakfast and meals in the conservatory overlooking the beautiful surroundings. Accomodation was clean and very roomy. We had we all had a wonderful stay there and were so sad to be leaving it. Thank you and we felt very safe throughout our stay

Mark assisted us in a great way to reach the place, the entire community was so good located on the river bed. It was a short stay for us, wish to stay there for a longer period in the future. All of us especially kids loved the surroundings. Overall a great place to stay 😄

This space is perfect for 2 people for a getaway, the 2 patios were a bonus, space to simply be. This is a prime spot in These Island, in our opinion, the view over the estuary, the bird life, is magnificent and peaceful Short walk to the restuarants as the Quay in town. Access to the canoe, SUP Bikes and golf sticks was a bonus, we used them all and had great fun, without having to have packed all our own gear. Diane and her family and the housekeeper, Patience were fabulous, helping us with our luggage, cleaning and checking in on us regularly. We will return for the simplicity of being away without stress.

We had a double booking as mom's booked with each other for the Knysna Western Cape Netball Festival, however Lynn and Clyde were very understanding and give us time to figure things out. We checked and out easily and Lynn and Clyde even go as far as selecting some hand selected beverages and eats that can was a pleasant surprise and showed us a warm welcome to Knysna. I will definitely book with Lynn and Clyde again next time in Knysna. The B&B was value for money in a safe location just 2-3 minutes outside of Knysna town. Away from the hussle and bussle. Thank you Lynn and Clyde.

We were very impressed by the attention to detail. We arrived late, but Olwen has ensured that we had the basics so that we could settle in, including a bottle of wine! The balcony had two comfortable loungers, table and chairs that afforded us a beautiful view of the canals, beautiful views especially in the early morning and the evenings. The bedding and towels were of a good quality. The kitchen had everything we needed. Internet was good enough to allow “working from home” through many teams meetings. Easy walk to many restaurants. Safe and secure underground parking. The apartment met all our expectations.

We stayed at Vista Laguna over the holidays! It was fantastic and we will definitely be back!

We stayed in one of Tine’s luxury glamping caravans as the room on AirBnB got double booked. Tine solved the matter very professionally and upon arrival she was very friendly and helpful. Thanks for our short but beautiful stay!

Colette was truly a gracious hostess, going the extra mile to accommodate our every need/wish/want. The boat trip was such a nice addition to our weekend experience. And that view, ah man, what a view ... Thanks to Colette and Wayne for opening up their home to us xx

My partner, Michelle, and I had a fantastic stay at Heidi’s place. The apartment is perfectly located within walking distance of the waterfront, making it easy to explore the area. We especially loved starting our mornings with coffee at Trinity Coffee, conveniently located just downstairs. Heidi was a pleasure to communicate with—responsive and helpful throughout. We highly recommend her apartment for a comfortable and convenient stay!

Beautifully located within the Thesen Island precinct with access to its facilities this unit is a penthouse with convenient access from your parking directly to the unit. Well maintained and kept well by Douglas who communicates clearly and is always close by if you need additional support.

We had a marvelous holiday in a beautifully, peacefully setting. Noreen and Simon made us feel welcome, and were lucky to see the newborn faul "cracker" borned on Christmas.

An Apple a day brings the Loeries to play... It was a fabulous experience having tye birds feast on the fruit left out for the birds to enjoy. The location is about 700m to 1.2km from the restaurants and shops, but away from the busy hub so you can relax and wake up in a tranquil environment until you're fully awake to enjoy the lovely Wilderness. Ali was helpful and communicative - well worth a second visit!

Jean's house is the absolute perfect place for a family holiday. Lots of space, adjacent to a lovely, clean lagoon for fishing, swimming and canoeing; a lovely lawn for the kids to play on, a massive stoep (verandah) to spend the days and early evenings enjoying a braai and admiring the spectacular view of the hill on the other side of the lagoon, in the coolness of shade. The granny cottage in the backyard is the perfect go-to place for grandparents or parents to escape to. The location is perfect, on a cul-de-sac, near enough to restaurants and shops alike. To top it all, Jean is the perfect host and communicated accurately, honestly and immediately. Our large family of nine returned home, relaxed, happy and well rested. We absolutely dream of repeating our fabulous holiday in the exact same house, soon.

It was the perfect relaxing holiday setting in beautiful nature surroundings. We absolutely will visit this holiday home again. Craig and Theoline are friendly and helpfull hosts. I will recommend their place to anyone.

Nico went out of his way to make sure we had a comfortable stay. We had a wonderful time and will surely go back there whenever we're in Knysna :)

Staying in this tiny house was like stepping into a fairytale! The space is beautifully designed, cozy, and full of charming details that made our stay unforgettable. Sheena is the best host you could ask for—warm, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect. Can’t wait to return to this magical little getaway!

We love staying at Paula's place, it is a divine cottage complete with everything one needs. Set in a beautiful garden, which our border collies just love. We thoroughly enjoy our holidays at Paula's place and will definitely be back again.
