We found exactly what we expected - a super quiet place - you think you're in the middle of the forest. We loved the really very nice furnishings of the integrated bedroom and shower room. Everything is very tasteful and of high quality. The air conditioning is outstanding - with a high-quality air conditioner, which cools the sleeping area down to the desired temperature, absolutely noise-free and draft-free. The kitchen area is in front of the house - a kind of conservatory, which can be opened almost completely to nature via two large sliding doors, in a cool industrial look. The large pool area is just a few steps away - very well maintained and offers a spectacular view of the Pont du Gard. And - every evening we played a relaxed game of boules on the integrated playing field. The apartment is the perfect starting point for beautiful bike rides, or to walk to one of the very good restaurants in the village center. Great place to stay. We'll be back!

Great stay in a safe and private location. The host was always responsive. Accurate as described. The gated private driveway was nice.

Whether for a business trip, a short stopover, a base to explore this beautiful region, this ground floor apartment that adjoins the owners' pavilion with very good comfort (extra bedding) and functional optimization, everything is there from air conditioning to wifi, a large fridge freezer, enough to cook, a closed bedroom, quality furniture... and friendly hosts who are attentive, very responsive to your requests but also know how to remain discreet and preserve your privacy. Located in the suburbs very close to the center of Nîmes, all shops in the immediate vicinity, the essential bakery, pharmacy, caterer etc... ten minutes' walk, you can book with confidence, you will not be disappointed, excellent value for money with an XXL welcome.

I had a wonderful 4-night stay at Absinthe with Caroline and Eric. Everything was perfect, the accommodation was as illustrated in the listing and met my expectations. The real plus: the swimming pool 2 steps from the accommodation to cool off after sunbathing. L'Absinthe is a small haven of peace where I found calm, comfort, serenity, sincerity, joy, tasteful decor, a peaceful garden with vegetable garden (too early to taste the tomatoes!) and lovely, responsive and caring hosts... Thank you. I would highly recommend it; you won't be disappointed!

We will treasure our surprise find in Collias. Suzy and Gérard welcomed us on arrival. They shared their knowledge of the area with us, showed us personally some beautiful walks, and food recommendations. Merci Suzy et Gérard pour votre accueil chaleureux !

The apartment couldn’t be in a better location. 2 minutes away is Le Palais des papes, yet the apartment is incredibly quiet and peaceful. We are delighted with our stay at this listing. It was very clean and a perfect size for a couple on a weekend. Flexible check-in allowed us to arrive during the night which was very accommodating. No problem parking in the village. I would 100% recommend! Bonus: the bed was really comfortable, we slept very well!

This was our first visit to Nîmes / South of France and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The apartment was exactly as described / shown and Patrice was extremely accommodating when it came to our public transport-based early arrival and check out times. The location is perfect with Roman history quite literally on your doorstep and Patrice is full of fab recommendations of what to do, where to eat etc. Special mention goes to the view out of the kitchen window. If you're visiting during swallow / martin migration season make sure you fling the windows open wide and sit there with your morning coffee to watch them performing their aerial acrobatics. Magical! My only regret is we had to leave so early to catch our train as would have loved to have spent more time talking with Patrice. Here's hoping we can carry on the conversation another time...

Fabienne’s apartment was delightful with beautiful furniture and a great kitchen and amenities. Everything was of a very high quality, terrific shower and lovely area to relax. The building was lovely and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Annick was great working with us on a day late arrival due to flight mechanical problems. She gave us very clear instructions to get into the rental much later than expected. She had a bottle of wine waiting for us and the beds were SUPER comfortable!!! We had the best nights rest of our trip. The washing machine we great to have. And the location was footsteps from the Arena!

Nathalie’s place is a gem in Provence. Walking distance to Avignon old town and within reach of all things needed from restaurants to places of interest. We had an infant and the apartment suited him in terms of crawl space and crib area. The parking in the building was super convenient to have a car and explore Provence. Nathalie was super flexible with a late night check-in and even helped me retrieve socks after I had checked out. Overall definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to explore Provence/Marseille area.

Come without so much as a second thought! Michelle is really nice and welcoming. The apartment is very well arranged, and perfectly maintained, equipped, and comfortable. You can walk to the city center in 5 minutes. Really nothing to repeat. I will be back as soon as I can.
