Cabin vacation rentals in Leadville

We recently stayed at Jay’s place in Alma for a ski trip, and we had the best time. The accommodation was perfect and, honestly, one of the best Airbnbs I have ever stayed in. The level of detail he’s put into all the little things makes for such an exceptional stay. Would recommend this to anyone wanting a nice, cozy stay away from the noise but close to the ski field.

Our group of 8 had a wonderful time on our week stay. The house is located in a beautiful spot close to Breckenridge skiing and FairPlay fishing, and the community around it are some of the nicest people I have ever met! Truly an amazing experience!

This was such an amazing week with the family. The house was beautiful, tucked into such a great place to explore. We love hiking and hiked everyday we stayed. There’s great little trail close to the house for a short hike. Then we went up to Wheeler Lake (still snowy/runoff). Still super fun! Beaver creek for a relaxing hike. Hot tub every night watching the wildlife wander by. Didn’t see Sheila! Maybe another time. Thank you so much Jody!

Our family had an amazing time and thoroughly enjoyed our cabin stay. We celebrated my son’s birthday and Mother’s Day together. My son always likes to go on a trip/experience for his birthday and this was the cabin he chose. Picturesque views. Weather was great. The cabin really helps you feel right at home while soaking up the relaxation. We really had a great time.

Lovely, peaceful place that filled our need for a quick getaway from Denver. We were so happy to be able to bring our dog, and we enjoyed the surrounding area and the hot tub immensely. The cabin is very comfortable and homey with a beautiful, stocked kitchen. Thank you for sharing your piece of heaven on earth!

My husband and I booked this home for our 19th Anniversary Trip last minute after deciding we weren’t excited about going to the beach. And boy, did we make a great choice In fact we came home thinking maybe we should move to Colorado:) Everything about this home is perfection. Stunning views in every direction. Hot tub stargazing is the perfect way to end a day exploring the mountains. Comfortable bed and furniture. We were even lucky enough to watch moose taking an afternoon swim in the community fishing pond We truly did not want to leave. If this house is on your list, just go ahead and book it, you won’t regret it.

Amazing cabin and awesome hosts. They had everything in the cabin you could ask for. Definitely felt very homey, would stay again in a heartbeat.

The cabin was very comfortable and well-designed, and I especially loved the quirky artwork. The kitchen was small but very functional. The only warning I'd give is not to underestimate the elevation! Going straight from sea level to stay at 10,674 feet was maybe a bit rash, and I did have a pretty bad headache for the entire trip sadly.

The house was great. The beds were comfortable. The wildlife was awesome. We had moose in the morning and wandering close to the house at night!!!!

Stayed here with 6 people total and everyone was very comfortable. Tara provided helpful instructions and was always responsive to any questions I had. The property requires a gate code and has very little traffic once off the main road. Kitchen was spacious and the loft bedroom upstairs was super cool. We got snowed on pretty good our first night so we were very glad to be able to use the fireplace at the home! The place was very clean and couldn’t have been happier with our stay.

Beautiful place to spend the night, had a great time, would love to go back for a night or two in the summer!

The cabin was great! It's just far enough off the highway that it feels secluded. It's a comfy space and easy to just relax at. Plus, there's easy access to the highway if you're going out. Buddy was great! He was always super responsive and informative.

Our whole group (8 total) really enjoyed our "girls weekend" here. We were all blown away by the view through the huge living room windows when we first came in the back door. The place was also bigger than we expected, which was a great surprise. The house had everything we needed for a big home cooked dinner, good night's sleep, and a movie night. We also loved the deck for happy hour drinks and star viewing at night. I really appreciated how quiet of an area it is. I highly recommend this home for anyone willing to be outside of town/a 20 minute drive to Buena Vista.

We stayed at Buckeye's Cabin for a long weekend in early March. We were warm (thanks to the heater and wood-burning stove) and in close proximity to Leadville. The cabin is a time capsule to the historic west and is as-advertised! All three guests were comfortable. Though we didn't use the kitchen, it has authentic antique charm which is worth considering if you plan to cook. There are heavy-duty window coverings on all windows, but Buckeye's Cabin is situated on Highway 91 so expect mild traffic noise. Overall, we had a 5-star stay and would recommend to anyone looking for a "glamping" experience, any time of year, near Leadville!

We stayed here for our wedding, and we could not be happier with our stay. We had everything we needed, and it was a nice, quiet place to get away. A bit far from stores and restaurants, but we were prepared and loved to cook at the house. Scenery was beautiful, I loved waking up to the mountain sunrise every morning. This is a truly magical place. We had the best time paddle boarding and fishing in Twin Lakes. From early morning coffee down by the roaring river to long soaks in the luxurious bathtubs at the end of the day —- we had such a lovely experience. The small touches and style choices have made this home so charming and inviting. Barb was such a wonderful point of contact and offered an open line of communication during our entire visit. It’s easy to tell when your host is invested in you having the best possible time. My family left feeling well-rested and full of blueberry pancakes. What more can you really ask for? Quaint cabin in a mountain neighborhood. It had everything we needed and Trevor made the check in process incredibly easy. His instructions for finding the cabin were spot-on. And if you’re looking for a stunning spot to hike or picnic, Twin Lakes are super close!

Dewlap Lodge is an absolute gem nestled in the heart of Colorado’s breathtaking wilderness! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning views of Glacier Peak and the surrounding landscape. The lodge itself is a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort—spacious, beautifully decorated, and impeccably clean. The host was fantastic, providing thoughtful touches throughout the home, including a fully stocked kitchen, cozy fireplace, and even recommendations for local hiking trails. Whether you're looking for adventure or just a peaceful retreat, this spot has it all. Waking up to the crisp mountain air and watching the sunset from the deck was truly magical. We couldn't have asked for a better getaway. Highly recommend Dewlap Lodge to anyone looking for a five-star experience in the Rockies!

Great location, right across from Twin Lakes. Easy access to hiking, kayaking and just relaxing. So quiet and relaxing. Also love they were extremely dog friendly and had doggie sheets and towel to help keep everything clean! Will definitely be back!

Great stay! The place was clean and private with lots of amenities. The layout and charm of the space was fantastic, but the real gem was the view from the wrap around deck and the cedar hot tub.

This cabin offers a high-end, comfortable retreat in a remote mountain setting. Despite its secluded location, it’s well-equipped with modern amenities, including strong internet (likely via Starlink), air conditioning, TVs, and a relaxing hot tub. I was pleasantly surprised by the interior design — stylish and thoughtfully done, it perfectly complements the rustic charm of the cabin. Communication with the owner was consistently fast, clear, and helpful. A truly enjoyable stay all around.

We had such a great time during our stay. The cabin is just as pictured, plenty of room for relaxing and games. They had lots of games ready for us, even baby toys and books. We loved the large deck and AMAZING views! The driveway was great for our grand daughter to sled down. Thanks for the memories!!
