What an idyllic spot! The cottage was perfectly fine. Beautiful area where you can hike and bike well. Every morning we were woken up with birds chirping.

We had an amazing easter vacation at this incredible place! Herman was friendly, always courteous and super helpful with our questions and requests. He even made sure the beer pump that wasn’t working was replaced (at 10pm!) thank you a lot again, you saved our evening. ☺️ All in all a beautiful trip we’d love to repeat and our group of four approves. From Good Friday to Easter Day, you can enjoy the peace and beautiful surroundings in Fochteloo/De Kraanvogel. When the battery needs to be recharged, you've come to the right place. I enjoyed the storks walking on the fields and the nice villages in the area. The Crane offers everything you need to rest easy. A nice terrace to sit outside and also in the living room/kitchen you can sit/relax. Thank you!

We greatly enjoyed the spacious spacious House, the particularly beautiful view and nature, the Shetland Ponys and today also the Terrace. Totally fantastic. Also the Details as ample towels, toilet paper, pills, soap and the pony sweets......great! Unfortunately, the amount of Dishes and Pans for cooking is nicely calculated. We would love to come back.
