We, family of 6 people, spent a weekend at Robert's chalet in Oosterwolde. First of all, our compliments for the decor, no matter what you need, it is there. Also, the chalet was super clean. We enjoyed sitting outside on the lounge set. Robert will be well before you arrive, contact you to explain how everything works with the key and gives some good tips. All in all, we had a wonderful weekend and it is subject to repetition.

We had an amazing easter vacation at this incredible place! Herman was friendly, always courteous and super helpful with our questions and requests. He even made sure the beer pump that wasn’t working was replaced (at 10pm!) thank you a lot again, you saved our evening. ☺️ All in all a beautiful trip we’d love to repeat and our group of four approves. We had a lovely weekend. Very warm welcome and the cottage and location was exactly what we needed. Wonderfully quiet, everything present and comfortable. This weekend was mainly for us as a base for Thialf, but we would like to come back to enjoy even more of the cottages and the area.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely country house. The surrounding area is perfect for walks and exploring nature. The host was absolutely fantastic—super welcoming and helpful. Our son, who is obsessed with motors, was thrilled to sit on one of the bikes—it really made his day! The house is well equipped and felt super cozy, especially in front of the fireplace. It was a bit chilly at night, but that’s to be expected in a countryside house like this. Overall, a great experience and we’d happily come back!

Mysigt - Large New Villa in Nature Reserve Forests

We spent a week in Mysigt, the two houses are absolutely fantastic. High-quality furniture, super clean living spaces with loving details. The very well-kept fenced outdoor area is perched with dog and children to simply chill in the garden the day. The Drents Frisian Forest is a 5-minute walk away and an absolutely great forest for walking, climbing and enjoying nature. In 10 minutes you can reach Canada by car, where the Aekingerzand dunes are a true adventure playground. With the dog opposite, there is a dog meadow across the street that is looking for the same in Germany. We will definitely come back to Hogersmilde and definitely in one of Xer's houses! Absolutely great holiday, which I recommend at any time!

Cozy cottage in a quiet little bungalow park against the edge of the forest. A marked wet nose route runs through the forest. The cottage is practically furnished with nice beds and a nice shower. The garden is sheltered and has a nice terrace. We had a lovely weekend with 4 adults and 2 dogs.

We were there for a weekend and it was just wonderful. The place is super clean and totally great furnished, the highlight is of course the hot tub which gets warm really quickly. It was quiet and the surroundings were perfect for relaxing. Everything you need is on site and if there are any questions, the host is quick to reach. Definitely recommended ❤️

Very nice house in a cozy, quiet and child-friendly area. Everything was there as described and seen in the pictures. The house was well equipped and extremely clean. Hans is very nice, gave us all the instructions before check-in and responded very quickly when we needed to ask anything. We would definitely choose the same place again in the future.

Friendly, helpful host. Adorable space with peaceful views and a quiet atmosphere. Everything you need (and then some) for a relaxing stay. The local treats were a welcome surprise! I've stayed in Airbnbs all over the world and this is a great example of why I do - the personal touches and attention to detail do not go unnoticed. Cannot recommend this spot enough, and the quaint little village up the road (cute bakery, little grocer for all your essentials) was a real bonus. Loved the area and would absolutely stay again. A+++ all around.

We really liked this place. The decor was very nice just like in the photos the surroundings are nice and quiet, especially in the evening and a lot is offered for children. We had found a small basket with soap bubbles for the children's coffee and what you could need. There is also a lot close to the company or shopping so very convenient and Anita is also very friendly and explained everything well. We will definitely come back.

We were here with 2 adults and 2 children (primary school age) for a weekend. When you are looking for peace and quiet this is the perfect place. The chalet is nicely located on the water. We thought the water was too dirty to swim in, but a 25-minute drive away is the Blue Lake, where you can swim. The prison museum in Veenhuizen is fantastic and in Appelscha is a nice outdoor swimming pool. We had a nice weekend!

We felt very comfortable in the beautiful house. The amenities were better than any other vacation home. The location and the view from the windows are fantastic. Our hostess was always available and lovingly took care of the great farmhouse and our concerns. There was even a cake for us as a guest gift. The area invites you to take long walks. The house is very spacious and lovingly furnished. We even had a Christmas tree and pretty Christmas decorations. The kitchen and amenities are like home. We spent nice hours by the fireplace. The spacious utility room next to the kitchen should also be mentioned. Space for everything you have with you. Second large refrigerator with freezer. I'm sure we'll be back!!!! 👌 Grade excellent

The apartment in Willeke's converted barn is mega! There were 5 of us (3 children 2 adults) and there could have been 3-4 more people. It has everything you need for a nice stay. The area around the house is nice for walks and if you drive some car you can take a trip to Groningen or Ameland. We would definitely book again!

We (2 adults and 2 small children) had a wonderful weekend in the cottage. It is a spacious house with a large garden. In the garden there was a trampoline and that was according to my children the most beautiful of the weekend. The cottage has everything you'll need such as washer and dryer and a nice fireplace. It was also very nice that things like tea, coffee, hand soap and baking paper were present. The area is beautiful. We will definitely come back again.

We really liked our weekend away here. We especially enjoyed the many birds in the garden and the possibility to walk into the large forest from the garden. The cottage is very complete and we all slept very well on the nice beds. Thanks for a great weekend away.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was well furnished, easy to find and it is a nice environment. The TT Circuit is also easily and quickly accessible.

Owners are very kind and communicative. Whatever I needed they were always ready to help. Even due late booking they were able to make appartment ready within few hours. We enjoyed staying there and have no problem to come back again whenever we are around.

Very nice space. Glad there are separate rooms where you can retreat for a while when you are with a group. Room/apartments are nicely decorated and well equipped. The bed cities are also very nice. The amenities are really great. For example, we used the jacuzzi, sauna and the BBQ. The area is beautiful. Were awakened with a view of the woods. And lots of parking.
