Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Lanark County

This was a great home, and accommodated all our staff. Janine was very friendly and the house had everything you could need. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Carleton Place.

Manuela’s home is incredibly spacious and very well suited to accommodate families and multiple couples. The home is located in close proximity to Perth, its parks, and a kayak/paddle board outfitters on the Tay River. The home is very sunny generally and it includes a lovely kitchen eating area as well as a large dining room for guests. The 2.5 bathrooms were well appointed and the kitchen was well equipped. The home was well cared for and very clean. Manuela is a helpful host who responded to our questions promptly.

We had a busy time with two family events and really enjoyed returning to the house to relax and enjoy your amazing back yard. It is truly a peaceful oasis! The children loved the pool and the adults all welcomed the evening hot tub. The flower gardens and pots are stunning. Thanks also for the lovely welcome gifts. We were very spoiled! My family and I stayed for the May Long weekend. The place had gorgeous views, great amenities and a welcoming atmosphere. Communication with the hosts was easy, and they made us feel very welcome. The organization is evident, with a QR code leading you to a guidebook and easy info for wifi access. We loved fishing off the dock, the gorgeous fireplace in the main living room, and a stunning loft where I could work on my novel. There is a varied bookcase full of select authors from several genres. I will definitely consider coming back soon! The place is close to both Perth and Smith Falls, so there are plenty of options for day travel for those who love local shops. Be mindful that the area is woody and rural, so frequent tick checks/ mosquito repellent is a must!

Beautiful home the perfect are too everything was great

I recently stayed at this cozy Airbnb for 2 nights and had a truly wonderful experience. From the moment I booked, the host Tony was incredibly friendly, responsive, and accommodating. Any questions I had were answered promptly, and he went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect for my stay. The place itself was just as described — warm, inviting, and spotless. The fully equipped kitchen had everything I needed, which made it so convenient to prepare meals. One of my favorite parts was the excellent patio area. It was the perfect spot to unwind, enjoy the fresh air, and make use of the BBQ — such a relaxing way to spend the evenings. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would strongly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and peaceful getaway. I’ll definitely be visiting again in the future!

We had a wonderful stay! Their Airbnb was immaculate and had so many extras just in case we needed anything, it was truly above and beyond :) I actually got ready for my wedding here with my bridesmaids and Erin & Sadiq were super flexible in allowing my hair and makeup artists to come into the space too. I would highly recommend to anyone staying in the area!

We had a lovely three night stay at this adorable apartment. Perfect spot to walk around, things to do, great parking situation. The interior was just as lovely with a big bed. Will absolutely be returning!

My stay at Marcel and Trudy’s was terrific. Everything was as it appeared in the photos and all was extremely comfortable.

Our stay at Carmel’s was exceptional. This is possibly the best Airbnb I have stayed at in a decade. Not only is she a welcoming host, but she takes care to ensure that every aspect of comfort and convenience is attended to. The space is aesthetically designed and decorated, and it has everything a traveller needs. Carmel was just as welcoming of our two dogs. Five stars all the way. Almonte itself is a lovely little town and I highly recommend using it as a base if you are looking to explore the National Capital Area or stopping overnight if you are returning to the GTA from Quebec or the Maritimes.

This airb&b location is perfect! Walking distance to shops & restaurants and in a nice, quiet neighborhood. The place is extremely clean with lots of plants. Sylvia is a great host. A must stay if you're visiting Carleton Place.

Really well equipped with a complete kitchen, and even had toiletries. The bed is very comfortable, with lots of room in the bedroom, the living room has an expansive and comfy sectional and a huge smart TV, and the bathroom is clean and has everything you could need. Be aware that this building is not on municipal water so the hot water had a bit of a sulphurous odour and is very soft - not an issue, just come ready to scrub to get the soap off. The dedicated parking spot in front has an outlet available, which was super handy to top up our EV overnight. Definitely recommend staying here if you want to be near Calabogie.

Elaine is very helpful and responded quickly. Her instruction is very detailed so we entered the room without any problem. The room is clean and has everything we needed, cozy enough for a family of four.

This stay was simply perfect! I could ramble on but believe the hype, the space is wonderful and Sylvia was a fantastic host. Amazing value, couldn’t have asked for a better experience :)
