Claire and Matt’s place was incredible. We couldn’t have asked for a more welcoming, cozy place to stay (especially coming in from the winter cold). The cabin is beautifully renovated, perfectly balancing modern comforts with original charm. Breakfast was divine, offered in a dining area adjacent to the private space where we got to meet their friendly Great Dane, Fortuna. Our only regret was not requesting the three course dinner— next time! :)

I loved this place! Nice and quiet neighborhood, super clean, excellent instructions for checking in and the location could not be better if you’re going to an event at the CTC. It is at walking distance!

Spacious and comfy L’s place is lovey and sparking clean with a nice firm bed that made for a good night’s sleep. A well equipped kitchen lets you start the day off right with a proper breakfast and cook your own dinner in the evening. The host is very kind and conversational and took us on a terrific hike around the beautiful property. She also has a canoe that you can borrow. We unfortunately didn’t have the time but next time we’ll definitely try it out. All in all a great place to stay. Highly recommended!

By way of background, not only have we lived in the area in the past, but we have stayed in numerous Kanata/Stittsville Airbnbs. Overall we have been pretty uniformly disappointed. So fed up with getting six plates, cups and glasses, and one or two pots/pans stocked for a three bedroom home furished with the most basic of furniture possible. This house however, was exceptional. Not only was the house very comfortable but the host was generous in stocking well beyond basics. This is especially true for the kitchen which was as well equipped as my own- and I like to cook. It felt more like a sister letting you use her very spacious and clean house for a week than a rental. I cannot recommend this home enough. If you want a quiet, supremely comfortable and convenient family stay, I sincerely believe you cannot do better than this house/host in the Ottawa west, Kanata, Stittsville area.

My stay at Michael’s place was lovely! It’s a beautiful spot and it was perfect for my cat and I for the weekend. It’s nice and quiet and a short walk from the shops and restaurants on Main St. I would definitely stay again. Thank you!!!

For a girls getaway the price was reasonable. Extremely clean, modern and comfortable stay. Queen bed, very comfortable. Loved the kitchenette. Had everything we needed. Nespresso Virtuo coffee was a treat! No need to go out for coffee. Michael is an excellent host. He found us in the parking lot to make sure we enjoyed our stay! Highly recommend this place!
