Amazing view great for 2 families:hot tub, FP, C/A

I can't say enough good things about Marla's Airbnb. We were there with another family in December and it's gorgeous! There was enough room to comfortably fit 2 families (collectively with 3 preschoolers and an infant). The separate but connected apartments were perfect for each family to have their privacy when needed but also come together. We had meals enjoying the beautiful view, snug next to the fireplace. The hot tub was wonderful. Communication was easy and Marla is graciously accommodating. For those of you traveling with infants, there's a baby bathtub and a pack n' play. I highly recommend and am hoping to come back soon.

Myself and 3 ladies so enjoyed this peaceful fun weekend Their Air B&B was the perfect place to unwind, take walks, very clean, beautiful lakefront and sunsets were stunning Close to Carleton Place and Almonte for shopping and terrific restaurants Would certainly recommend.. Enjoy if you do book in the future!

Tom was very accommodating and helpful before and during our stay. Check-in was easy and quick and there was clear instructions on how to do it. Tom was very prompt and helpful whenever we had questions. The space also had lots of information on local activities so we had a good idea of what was around. The space was clean and had all of the amenities listed.

The gorgeous log cabin was exactly as described, very private and beautifully decorated- especially the glass artwork and glassware from Gray Glass Art/Gather Glassblowing & Brewery which is right in town. The quaint town of Merrickville was only a 10 minute drive and worth a visit. The wood burning sauna, hot tub, inside wood stove and fire pit made us feel like we had our own nordic spa. Liz & Mike were so responsive and helpful. Thank you for hosting us, we had such a lovely birthday away :)

We had an incredibly relaxing and fun stay at Jen’s airbnb. The cozy atmosphere was perfect for a rejuvenating girls weekend. Jen was prompt in her communication, kindly let us enter the property 30 minutes ahead of check-in, and provided great local recommendations. In addition, when we unfortunately received 30cm of snow and ice overnight, she had the driveway plowed in the early morning to ensure we could depart the property with ease. Overall, I would fully recommend Jen’s property to others looking for a getaway!

The Heron's nest was quite lovely and even better in the summer because of the outdoor spaces available. Meredith had little touches that made us feel special: chocolates on our bed pillows, his and hers bathrobes, drinks in the fridge and cozy blankets you can snuggle with. The space was well lit, nicely decorated with seasonal accents, and stylish. Every space was clean and well maintained. The view of the river and the village is spectacular. We would happily return to Meredith's place. However, I would want to take advantage of the outside.

Thank you for a great night's stay in Almonte, Carmel. The home has so much character and charm. The new bathroom was a great treat. Even with the epic amount of snow in town, it was an easy check in and check out. We hope to visit again.

Don't want to say too much about this gem of a place, because if word gets out it will always be booked and we want to come back! Lovely location, reasonable price, short drive from Ottawa, accepts pets but you'd never knw based on how clean it is. This resort is obviously run well by people who care and take the time to maintain it. Looking forward to our next visit already.

We had a group of 5 of us staying in this home plus a dog and we were very comfortable. The house is very clean and well furnished. Hosts responded promptly. Lots of space to relax plus a fenced in yard for the dog. I would definitely stay here again.

Thanks for letting us stay at your place. The place was beautiful. Private feeling and with lots of stuff to do at the cottage and on the water. Great place to bring your dogs as well!

What a great place to stay, nice location on the water. Not a modern house, but the comfort and location make up for it. There was a musty smell, not sure if it was the moisture (its been so rainy) residual smoking smell or pets. The house was very clean otherwise. Natasha is very responsive with any questions and provided a binder with things to do and information on the area. Location is great for us, we are planning to stay next time in the area. Very convenient with travels with our dog. Easy check in and Out, good sleeps, recommend.
