Had a great time staying in the yurt. Great location and a short commute to the ferry’s for Mackinac Island. Would definitely stay here again!

This place was great!!! The hosts gave clear, detailed instructions about the place and did small things like prepare a wagon for luggage and set out treats when we first arrived that made us feel very welcomed! The yurt itself was beautiful and we were in awe of it the entire time. We loved the location: it was close to town, but far enough away to feel like you’re off the grid. The amenities were so fun, the foldable kayaks were a treat to use and were very easy to figure out! The hosts were super helpful and responsive too when we had questions. Loved this place so much and hope to be back again sometime ❤️

Love, love, love Mushers Village! So glad we got to stay at this little treasure outside of town. We stumbled across this place and are so glad we did. Tasha was a great host and really cared about us even went to lengths to check on us on our visit. The Yurt was so cool! Thanks for making our stay so memorable!

Absolutely loved this beautiful Yurt near Beaver Bay. It is stunning sitting on a lot with a stunning view. Loved the paths to different points to view the lake and horizon. I spent sometime outside shooting the Milky Way and the sunrise. So peaceful and amazing surroundings. Loved the art work in the home and the beds were quite comfortable. It was a bit more expensive but this was a treat to myself and my Autistic son for a special trip to the North Shore. I felt very safe and loved spending time here. You really are close to so many things to do. Thanks for such a wonderful stay. Shelley

The yurt camp was such a fun and unique stay. I wish I had booked it for several more days. The solitude was refreshing and we loved having the river right there next to our camp. My Chevy Trax w AWD made it back there with no problem and it was easy to find.

Had an amazing experience at Twisted Twig Yurt! We stayed in February and the snowy location and quiet surroundings were perfect. We stayed warm with the wood stove and wood provided. Clean and had everything we needed and lots of small touches that showed forethought about our experience. Easy drive into Bayfield, shopping and great lunch at Many Penny. Experienced the Chequamegon Bay ice caves and Mt Ashwabay cross country skiing what a great experience with our cozy home base at the Yurt.

I had a fantastic stay! The yurt was amazing and having an outdoor space to enjoy was nice as well. The communication from Gina was great, very responsive. The directions to the site were accurate and was helpful on how the roads were laid out making finding it even easier. Gina provided quite a few suggestions on what to do and places to visit. I would highly recommend staying here and would love to do so again in the future. Thank you Gina on a relaxing stay!

Cozy warm (even with 15° temps at night) fun Yurt! Very prompt hosts that answered any questions we had. We enjoyed our first stay in a Yurt! Such a fun experience. Outhouse experience in the winter is always fun lol! Cant wait to go back!
