Private entrance out back, winter access thru the garage. Laundry facilities in the garage. Driveway parking. Well behaved dogs are welcome - see rules. Fenced backyard with fire pit. Our lodging is located in Cornucopia, WI onsite to Lost Creek Adventures, a kayaking outfitter and only 4 miles from the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore. In the summer, we are a bustling outfitter - join us for a sea kayak tour or just relax at the beach. During the off-season (mid-Sept to mid-May) there are plenty of hiking, atv, and snowmobile trails in the area as well as local restaurants and beautiful sights. We are right across the street from Lake Superior and boast a beautiful sunset.

Penrose house is an original Edwardian home having a private and separate third floor suite. Guest access and entry to the suite is through two high security doors leading to a back stairway used exclusively by guests. Safe off-street parking is available at the rear of the property for guest use only. Our property is located in one of the most sought after streets in the heart of the Central Park area of Superior, Wisconsin. We are centrally located for tourist destinations in the Northland.

We are also located 20 minutes from Bayfield, Wisconsin and the ferry to Madeline Island. The Cornucopia Sweet Retreat is a no smoking / no pet space.
