Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Lake Superior

We had an awesome stay. The home was clean, comfortable and very peaceful. We particularly enjoyed the patio and fire pit, using it in the morning to enjoy our coffee and in the evening to watch the sunset. The location was great, secluded but close enough to the main highway to make the drive to the state parks and Duluth easy. We would definitely like to make a return visit sometime in the future!

The cabin was beautiful! It was private and we felt like we were removed from everything. We were able to relax and recharge. We were left great ideas for hiking, food, and sightseeing. We would love to book it again!

We stayed here during Grandma’s marathon. It was a perfect location to be able to quickly spectate at the 16th mile marker. Tracy’s place was cozy, clean, and great for what we needed. It was close enough to downtown Duluth area but still far enough out to have privacy. Tracy really considered all of what guests would need. We will definitely consider coming back.

My family of 4 adults and 2 kids LOVED this stay!! All the beds were super comfy, amenities great and record player and game room were an awesome touch. Enough space inside for our family to hang together and even better outdoor spaces. Loved how private it was too and we enjoyed walking to Fika coffee each morning. Will be staying again!

One of my favorite stays of all time. Beautiful, clean, charming house with high end amenities. We enjoyed the view of the lake and took advantage of the outdoor space - grill, fire pit. One of the best Airbnb experiences. Unforgettable. Sandra’s home will keep you occupied and in amazement. Photos did not do it justice. Sandra was a responsive and proactive host. She went above and beyond to make our short overnight stay as special as possible. Sooo many treats, coffee, tea, breakfast. Everything you need, Sandra has thought of it!! Thank you! My running club and I came to Two Harbors to run Grandma’s marathon - and Blackbeach was only going to be the housing. Instead it ended up being the highlight. The location is idyllic with a private beach and stunning views of Lake Superior. Every morning, we woke up to waves crashing. In the evenings, we hunkered down by the beach with a warm fire. Adam and team was extremely responsive, let us know all the expectations ahead of time, and answered all our questions. Additionally, it was clear that Adam took so much pride in orchestrating such a calming and delightful oasis. Every detail was charming and well thought out. Would highly highly recommend staying at Blackbeach. Thank you Adam and team!

Our stay at Loon Lake was wonderful! Janie was fantastic to deal with - very friendly and welcoming. Communication was great from the moment we booked. She shared helpful tips for us to prepare for our visit and made check-in a breeze. The property is beautiful and convenient to Hayward. The beds were very comfortable and the sound of the train only added to the charm. We would absolutely stay at Loon Lake again and plan to do so in the future. Beautiful lake front area with the wonderful Marty’s Place North supper club literally in the front yard! Fantastic and amazing views. Perfectly placed so you get the out in the middle of nowhere feel while still being close to downtown Minocqua and truly get the best of both worlds. Perfect for small groups (mainly 1, maybe 2 couples). Was perfect. Hosts are incredibly helpful and responsive. Thank you so much Mark & Wendy we had a lovely stay!

Not reflecting on the owners of the unit but the door leading to the deck was below our room. The door thudded loudly when it was open and closed.

Lovely, large space with four, outdoor decks - so nice to be able to step outside from any space in the treehouse. The location is not far from town but also very quiet and peaceful. The space is lovely and very well-appointed; we especially enjoyed the kitchen. Vic was super friendly and gave us great recommendations as to what to see the next day. The island is gorgeous and there is wildlife viewing if lucky! Highly recommended.

This cozy apartment was just what we were looking for. It was very clean and well decorated. It had a refrigerator which I didn’t notice in the listing. The host provided snacks, essential toiletries, and games. We had a question for the host during our stay and they responded quickly. We had a great stay!

This is a nice, rustic, second floor apartment overlooking Lake Superior with a slightly obstructed view. It’s a unique, colorful do it yourself project with lots of recycled materials (in a good way). The only drawback is that the bedroom windows face the main road, which can get busy with trucks and cars around 6 AM. Good earplugs are useful if you’re a light sleeper. They do provide a white noise machine, which we did not use. It’s also very convenient to the business section and the dock.

Great place to stay! Everything is exactly how it looked in the pictures. Everything you’ll want to get to is within a 20 minute drive! Very helpful hosts!!

This place was a perfect place to stay during our trip to two harbors. Amazing location that allowed us to walk to a lot of the businesses downtown like the pizza restaurant and to the brewery. Very easy to find and Karla answered all my questions in a timely response.

Excellent condo beautiful surroundings great weather very good trip

This was a great place to stay for our end of the season ski trip. A close 2-minute walk to the chalet. There is a lift even closer, but it wasn't running, presumably because our stay was the last weekend of the ski season. The condo was clean, tidy, and had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and cozy. Myron was super helpful and responded to messages within minutes. Being April, it wasn't cold enough to warrant using the hot tub, but it looked great. He offered to let us check out later since the cleaning crew wasn't arriving right at 11:00. Much appreciated! So much nicer to change in his condo rather than the chalet before our drive home. Looking forward to booking this condo again for our annual Michigan ski trip next winter!

Jon's place was great for me and my wife with our 2 small dogs. we were the first renters of the season and there wasn't any coffee, so Jon immediately gave me a $15 refund. great directions for hiking trails, nice quiet place and great location for visiting the Apostle islands. we would definitely stay there again.

I'm not one for words but it was absolutely spectacular plenty of room for a family of five super quiet and absolutely gorgeous scenery. Will definitely book again as soon as I can.

We loved our stay here! The location is super convenient, the unit was easy to get in and out of, there was ample parking, and the unit was very clean. As a light sleeper, I felt that the building was nice and quite.

Christine’s place was the tranquility that we were looking for! The unit is located at the end of the building which made it so very easy to unload! You could sit inside and enjoy the views of the water or you had the choice of sitting outside at a high top table or relax adirondack chairs! It was a great spot to enjoy a cup of coffee and a book! The inside was so comfortable and cozy! We didn’t use the fireplace but on a cold fall or winter night it would have been amazing! The kitchen is stalked with a great cookware set and knives that we took good advantage of! There is also a well stocked spice rack & seasoning drawer. Being right on the water was a huge perk and the ability to walk down the stairs to the rocks was incredible. We very much enjoyed our stay and look forward to our next visit! The 3 nights went so quickly and we were not ready to come home. Thank you again Christine!

We very much enjoyed our stay; hosted by Missy and Scott. The property is serene and beautiful, and we enjoyed spending time outdoors and observing the wildlife that included ducks, geese, turtles, squirrels, deer, woodpeckers, and butterflies. Inside, our hosts had prepared for everything we could need. The kitchen is well-stocked with utensils and cookware, and the bathroom and sleeping areas are clean and comfortable. Missy and Scott were prompt to respond to any messages, and provided some tailored recommendations that added to our enjoyment of the area. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone who wants quick access to outdoor adventure while also offering all the indoor comforts.
