House vacation rentals in Lake Strömthal

Definitely one of the most beautiful vacation homes we've stayed in so far. The pool and all the little things in the garden were of course highlights. But even so, the vacation home was very nicely decorated and communication with Tristan was great. Highly recommended!

The private accommodation was just as described and seen on pictures. A very extensive equipment, where we lacked nothing. There was a super friendly communication in advance, during our stay with questions and also after. High flexibility and great preparation from the host regarding travel, use of the house and stay allowed us a really great time. We felt right at home and were able to settle in very well. We can definitely recommend it and will be very happy to come back. We would not have preferred to leave at all;-) Really worth 5 stars!!

This was a perfect house and location for our family get-together. The house was beautiful furnished and felt cozy and warm. The patios provided a perfect space to eat and relax. It had everything we needed and Andrea was super responsive. We also got to buy some of her locally made honey.

We enjoyed the extended weekend at Lake Park Auenhain very much, we can highly recommend the house and the settlement, especially for families. After booking, we had contact directly with the reception of the lake park (by email and phone), very fast and uncomplicated communication. The house had everything you need, various things (e.g. cot, high chair, barbecue) could be booked. The house is close to the lake, only a 10-15 minute walk, all accessible. In the lake you can swim, it has playgrounds, a restaurant, etc. In the settlement itself there is also a restaurant, which we can highly recommend too! Since everything is in the countryside and close to the water, there are mosquitoes, most rooms had corresponding nets on the windows. If you want to inquire about possibilities in the settlement as well as in the area, just check the website of the settlement. Overall a very good value for money, we would book again anytime!

Super great and nice landlords. Very nicely restored building with a lot of preserved historical elements. Very nice garden for shared use (vineyard + pool). We felt very comfortable with our dogs. Unfortunately, the time was far too short. The location is very central in Saxony, so you can reach/drive to many excursion destinations in the vicinity and beyond. Important: Very good mattresses/beds for a good sleep and prudently screens on windows, so that you could ventilate very well (which is unfortunately rather/very rare from experience in Saxony) We will be happy to come back.

A great little house with a very nice garden and pool. Quietly located and yet in 30 minutes in Leipzig by car. The garden invites you to relax, a refreshing pool and garden furniture are available. The garden pavilion is also very cozy. Very nicely furnished and lots of kitchen equipment available. We will be happy to come back.

My grandparents had a wonderful stay at Frank's place! The apartment was not only very clean, but also furnished with a lot of love for detail – they felt right at home. Particularly noteworthy is the kindness of Frank and Astrid, who were always responsive and warmly welcomed us. We didn't miss anything and we'd love to come back anytime. Absolute recommendation! Just a great renovated little witch's house with a wood stove. Good bathroom, everything is fine. Christian and his wife were excellent hosts, his son Felix also always helped. Just great people and always super helpful. It was simply great. We will be back. Thank you very much again!

Armin's house is a great place to explore Leipzig and the surrounding area! We felt very comfortable. Armin was also easy to reach on site and helped us a lot with our questions. The neighborhood offers plenty of tranquility, a sweet garden and great connections in all directions. We will be happy to come back.

We had a lovely time staying at this great place. Above all, we were positively surprised by the size of the detached house - it is much larger than it appears in the photos. There was everything we needed, terrace and garden are very nice, and the neighborhood was very quiet. We highly recommend the cottage! Many thanks, Petra and Markus 😊

The house fully met our expectations; good location for the tram (2 min. And the parking spaces on the property are ideal; overall a green oasis in the middle of the city and extremely accommodating hostess. A special request before arrival was promptly fulfilled. The basic equipment in the kitchen is very good; we lacked nothing. I'd love to come back and again a big praise to all contact persons

A beautiful place with everything you need. It is lovingly designed and furnished and everything is really very clean. At no time do you feel that something could be wrong. There are many small clues that make it easy to find certain items. The host is a very nice contemporary with a very sympathetic appearance, uncomplicated communication and flexible response to certain circumstances. I can recommend it unconditionally.👍

The stay was very pleasant. Everything was clean and the apartment was really very nice. The location is great, the tram is only a few minutes' walk away and you are in the city center in a very short time. Carlo informed us in advance about everything and was always quickly available. We would definitely book this accommodation again.

We've always wanted to stay in a loft with very high ceilings. The studio has 5m ceiling height and the curtains make the loft totally dramatic. Especially in the evening, this creates an incredible atmosphere. The bathroom is completely black with marble surfaces, the doors are custom-made and you can hear Felix gladly explaining how he built everything himself. We are really amazed how cozy the loft is and how nice it is to wake up there early. As coffee nerds, we were recommended a breakfast place that makes good specialty coffee with a LaMarzocco. You can leave the car in the yard and take the train to the main train station in 3 minutes. We will definitely be back!

A little paradise by the water! Our stay was simply fantastic. Sybille is a wonderful host – warm, helpful and always quickly available. From the beginning, we felt like after 3 weeks of vacation ;) When we arrived, we could hardly believe our eyes: the house is really right on the water! Looking at the lake in bed in the morning and starting the day with this tranquility – that was pure luxury. The location is hard to beat: absolutely idyllic and yet close to everything you need. Right outside the door is a bike path, perfect for racing.
Within walking distance, there are restaurants directly on the lake – and a fish sandwich shop, which we already miss. Top equipped house directly on the lake with large bathtub, great kitchen & garden. Ideal for nature lovers & families. Between Markkleeberger & Cospudener See, Leipzig can be reached quickly by train. Clean, quiet & inexpensive – an absolute insider tip! We will definitely be back! Thanks a lot!

We felt very comfortable that weekend and were very happy! In the house there is everything you could want - the house feels right at home and the garden has a small oasis to sit outside together during the day or evening. Everything is spotlessly clean and the kitchen has everything you could want. It is all made and furnished with a lot of love. And is certainly a good idea for a long time in the house. Communication with Ute was great and warm. She explained everything well and also asked in between if everything is okay. We loved being guests in the house! Highly recommend.

Gerald and his partner welcomed me in a very friendly way. There is nothing wrong with the accommodation. It is in a very quiet residential area on the outskirts of Halle. Gerald even offers cheap shuttle service to the airport or train station if needed, really great. I'd love to come back...

Anette and Frank were very nice hosts. Her house is stylishly furnished, quietly located and made us feel comfortable immediately. The location was ideal to fully enjoy Leipzig. We will be happy to come back!

We were with 4 children and grandma and grandpa at Josephine's and her family's. In the house, we found numerous things/furniture/toys, which we also have at home. That's why we felt at home right away. Josephine even has chickens. We also :)) There is a parking space in front of the house and you are quickly on the highway to Leipzig. We were there for the gymnastics festival and needed about 30 minutes to the fair and to Connewitz. In the evening, we cooked pasta in the great kitchen with the many lovingly potted bowls and enjoyed the cozy couch corner. There are also many chairs and a large table. The living space is really great. A big plus are also the two bathrooms and the many bunk beds in which you could theoretically let 2 smaller children sleep. There is really a lot of space available. The garden is also very beautiful. Completely natural and equipped with many crops. Very tasteful. Thank you for the beautiful gymnastics festival days with you!
