It's very nice and quiet place surrounded by orchards. We were welcomed by the host and enjoyed our stay. Will stay here again when in the area

Check-in was well described with photos, so the place and the key were easy to find. The place is in a quiet place, a supermarket is nearby and you can get to town quickly by bus.

As a group of 5 girlfriends we couldn’t have chosen a better place for our weekend away. We loved the cosy house it was nice and warm , beds comfy and had everything we needed . The location was amazing with access to a private lakefront spot. Ngaire was a fabulous super host so helpful and going extra mile for us to ensure we had a lovely stay. Can’t recommend enough and would love to comeback in summer !

Crystal’s place is very conveniently located. Walking distance to town while also in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood. Conveniently close to the grocery store and some great bakeries and cafes. The beach (5 mins away) is breathtaking. A great place to base in the Mount. Room is comfortable with nice high ceilings and natural light. As described.

Sharlene’s place was well equipped and very clean. Upon checkin there was some milk, cereal, bread and spreads which was greatly appreciated. All the beds are comfortable and there’s a very functional kitchen. Sharlene herself as a host is also very kind even helping us get on top of our pile of washing when there was wet weather. I will mention for other travellers that the window coverings keep out very minimal light so if you’re a light sleeper or will be adjusting to new timezones an eye mask would be good. We had portable black out blinds with us but not enough for both bedrooms. Would definitely stay here again

Such a beautiful peaceful place to stay with lovely gardens. Fun to see the cows running in the fields nearby. Nice breakfast items including fresh fruit, milk, juice, yogurt, honey, cereal, bread and jelly.

Jerry's place was awesome nice and cozy good spot for the dog to run around clean and tidy and the water was so good. Jerry was really nice and friendly easy to talk to and very responsive. Even had some nice eggs from the chickens

Awesome place to stay. So clean with amazing sheets. All the little touches were there to make us feel comfortable and well rested.

Phil's place had all we needed for our stay. We were here due to a big event taking place around the area of Neil Hunt Park and Redwood Forest, so it was a great location for us since we could easily walk back and forth between the event and our accommodation. Phil was really nice and accommodating, and picked us up in the city center when we arrived by bus. Initially we had misunderstood the amenities listed and thought that there was pots, pans and a stove top in the kitchenette, but Phil was kind enough to offer us to use his kitchen (although we never needed it because the weekend was so busy that we never had time to cook). We wished we could've stayed longer because this AirBnB was really nice! So cozy, Phil was so friendly and kind and the area was very peaceful and relaxing - something we would've wanted to take advantage of more. Really recommend staying here!

A great place to stay in easy walking distance to the beach. Has everything you need to prepare simple meals and lots of cupboard space. We would definitely choose this place again.

Caron’s Airbnb in Matamata was absolutely adorable — cozy, beautifully styled, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we could possibly need. It truly felt like a home away from home. The location was great too — nice and quiet, yet just a quick 3-minute drive to everything in town. Caron is such a joy — warm, welcoming, and clearly puts so much care into making sure her guests feel comfortable. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommend!

Margriet welcomed me when I arrived and had a she had a lovely touch with my name on a blackboard outside the accomodation. She communicated clearly throughout the whole booking and welcoming. The accomodation was very clean and had a lovely atmosphere. The bed was really comfortable and even had an electric blanket. I would definitely stay their again. Thanks so much Margriet.

Diane was a fantastic host and the place itself truly felt like a home away from home. It had everthing we could've thought of and more. We will definitely be staying again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Karen’s. It was exactly what we needed to wind down. Although the kitchenette was small, we still managed to cook a pasta dish and also a delicious breakfast. The view from bed in the morning was lovely. It was the perfect location for us to do what we needed in Tauranga and out at the family’s farm near Kati

This has quickly became our all-time favourite AirBnB. Impeccably furnished and clean, lush and cozy at the same time, with so many thoughtful touches. The photos don’t do the serenity of the orchard surroundings justice. This was the perfect, peaceful sanctuary. We can’t wait to be back!

Jan and Dan are personable, kind, and went out of their way to show hospitality to us on our 20th anniversary getaway. Loved the time!
