Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Lake Rotorua / Te Rotorua nui ā Kahumatamomoe

We had a wonderful few nights on the edge of the beautiful Redwood forest. The house felt very homely and we loved having the cats hop up for a cuddle on the sofa at night. The kitchen was very functional for meals. Thank you for sharing your home :-)

After staying at Benny's we feel like we have come back from a beautiful remote island getaway. The outdoor area was so lush and it was so peaceful, we loved sitting outside and listening to the ocean waves in the distance. My partner and I struggled to be out at the check out time due to Aimz Games and the hectic traffic there was on top of school drop off being a 45 min drive turning into an almost 2 hour drive.. But Benny was super helpful, even going as far as helping me to carry my luggage for me! we highly recommend staying here if you need a quiet getaway by the sea. Absolutely loved it, wish we could have stated longer!!

What a spot!! absolute beachfront, high up on the hill overlooking the beach. We booked for our wedding night, but hosts were flexible with an early check in so the bridal party could get ready. Don't book if you don't like listening to the roar of the ocean when it's windy, but if you find it soothing like us, then it's perfect! Nice stairs down to the sand, perfect for a walk, and a nice deck area. The undercover area with fire is so nice for that bad weather but wanting a cosy spot to relax. I have zero complaints, place was spotless, nicely laid out and great parking. We are local to the Pukehina area, but if we ever need to book somewhere there again, this will be first on this list! Thank you Merilyn for your amazing communication and flexibility. We really appreciate it and your cosy place.

The place was amazing, well presented and super clean and tidy. As soon as we walked in it felt cozy and just like home. Hayley's communication throughout the entire process was amazing, friendly and super helpful. We would happily stay there again!!!

Very much enjoyed our stay. The views were amazing from every corner of the house. The kids really enjoyed the pool/trampoline. Great location for Golf enthusiasts or just down the road from a Mountain Bike trail/hike. Highly recommend for large groups. Tatiana is very friendly and easy to communicate with.

The host was amazing and really responsive. Allowed us to checkin earlier as we reached earlier than expected. It was such a smooth checkin and communication was great. Place was big enough to accommodate our party of 10 adults and 5 kids. Kids loved having their own space to play upstairs as well as in the garage. Adults enjoyed the fireplace a lot. Really warm house.

This was the perfect little retreat for us to unwind and relax! We loved all the little touches that made us feel right at home, they had set the fire up all ready for roasting marshmallows, there was a fantastic selection of tea, and we appreciated the eggs and avocados! The bed was insanely comfortable and the addition of the robes was such a nice touch. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Lovely cabin with a lot of character and delighted we booked this place to explore the Rotorua area. Its about a 20 min drive to the centre but also lots to do around the cabin area also. Really enjoyed Okere Falls walk and the Okere Falls Store for coffee. Will return again if in the area.

We absolutely loved the place. It's a stay in a tropical botanic garden with beaches in walking distance! Charlotte and Simon's place is quirky, definitely the right word; charming and beautiful also describes it. It is peaceful, squeaky clean, has all amenities for a self sufficient stay and attention to detail makes all the difference. Both are welcoming, available and friendly hosts.

Matthew was an incredibly friendly and welcoming host. Beautiful location and highly recommend taking advantage of the private river track - absolutely stunning spot. If you're looking for a quiet, cozy weekend away this is an excellent choice. Would happily stay again!

Such a stunning place to stay! The walk up to the hut was steep but short, and made it so private. We loved everything but highlights were watching deer from the outdoor shower, and sitting by the outdoor fire pit watching the sky full of stars ⭐️ Thanks Matt for sharing your beautiful place!

I think this place is really nice & comfortable. All equipment is prepared in good ways. The river in front of the house is nice and David is also really friendly person. He helps us to make a warm hot tub and many information about the house. Thank you so much
