Stu’s guesthouse was a lovely getaway in New Zealand! Close to Queenstown, ZQN airport, and to many outdoor activities. Very peaceful and private, soft linens, and felt right at home. It’s clear that this is not a cookie cutter Airbnb, but a real guesthouse, and it shows in the fit and finish of the property, and Stu’s helpful and kind approach to hosting. I would stay again in a heartbeat!

Everything which we needed was provided. Beautiful garden. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to family and friends.

We were met by Linda who was making apricot preserves that we had with homemade bread for breakfast. Linda asked us about our plans to visit Milford Sound and gave us great tips about travel time, parking and what to expect. Her tips were spot on! Since we were leaving early in the morning, she made us a wonderful breakfast tray including enough food for lunch as well. Her generosity is amazing! And much of the food was grown on Linda and John’s property. The cottage was clean and well stocked. My wife loved the espresso machine and we both loved the comfortable mattress. But what we loved the most was how Linda and John made us feel at home.

Elke’s cottage is perfect and can handle a a family or a couple of happy travelers. From the lovely gardens to the spectacular view of the bay, to the soft flannel sheets and warm comforter, to the well-thought out kitchen space, spacious shower and bathroom, we felt right at home and enjoyed every minute of our stay. To behold the beautiful sunrise with a cup of hot coffee, and end the day with a spectacularly beautiful sunset and a glass of wine, all whilst gently rocking on the lawn swing, was my idea of heaven. Elke’s place is close to the royal albatross bird center and the OPERA reserve, and she gave us recommendations for local cafes and restaurants. This is a very quiet and peaceful place, and lovely to wake up to bird song every morning. I look forward to returning to this piece of heaven someday!

Located up on a hill with a rainforest microclimate. Clare provides any breakfast foods you might like. Worth the hike.

Absolutely lovely place to stay. Spectacular views and so peaceful yet only 5 minutes from the shops in Pirongia. Our family of 4 were very comfortable and had everything we needed. Thanks Ruth and family, great host.

This lady is an amazing soul, we felt very welcomed by her and her husband. Also really Amazing views I took my girlfriends with me and it honestly felt like a sleep over with the way it was set up . We all had so much fun and could all see each other and talk to one another before heading off too bed 😊 she even offered to help us when needed which cherry didn’t have too but we are very appreciative that she did. Highly recommend this place. Definitely will go back again one day. Thanks cherry for being a great host ❤️

This place is a hidden gem in the area, and the host is incredibly friendly. After a long journey, we both felt right at home. The surroundings are private and peaceful, and the hospitality from the host was truly amazing. I highly recommend this place!

The Lillypad Cottage is a small tranquil retreat for any couples who want to get away from city life - wake up and fall asleep to the sounds of nature - spot birds taking baths in the ponds right at your doorstep. Sabrina was lovely throughout our stay - we were delighted to have been left freshly picked apples from their orchards. Thanks again!

We loved our stay here. The surroundings were very peaceful and scenic. It was lovely and quiet. The home was clean and very comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful and relaxing place. The hot tub is amazing, and the personal touch of checking in to see if/when we wanted it lot every day was really kind. Whether it’s watching the stars by night or staring at the view by day, this is the perfect spot to do it from - comfortable and well-equipped.

This was our second time staying here, and once again, we absolutely loved it! It's the perfect place to disconnect from the hustle and reconnect with nature. Peaceful, cozy, and surrounded by beauty—every moment feels like a breath of fresh air. It's also a great base to explore the stunning Karangahake Gorge and charming Waihi. The host is simply the best—welcoming, thoughtful, and always makes us feel right at home. We'll definitely be back again!

Very clean apartment with all the amenities you could need, a well stocked kitchen. Kirsten was friendly and gave us recommendations of walls nearby. I would definitely recommend staying here.

My wife and I really enjoyed Stephen’s place. It was super peaceful and comfortable. We opted to add the breakfast on our last morning which was homemade and delicious. The hot tub was also a treat. Would love to stay here again.

My husband, myself and my little dog felt right at home. Giacomo is very friendly and helpful. The check in instructions are very clear and easy to follow. The accommodation is spotless and immaculate. Thank you for being so accommodating to Tucker 🐶 We also appreciate the refreshments prepared in the fridge. This place is a gem. 💎

We had another fantastic stay at Warren's accommodation. It is peaceful and picturesque, and it has everything you need for a relaxing break. Our two little dogs love the local walks along the lake. 5 stars all round.

We had a lovely stay at Natasha’s place. Stunning view from the balcony, immaculately clean and lovely comfy beds. Would absolutely recommend a stay here.

Great hosts to stay with n e nice to meet ou with. We really enjoyed our stay it was inviting and comfortable and had everything you need when you're away from home the surroundings were beautiful and very private. We enjoyed seeing the hens running around. Parking is great as we had two vehicles. Our time went too fast we enjoyed every minute. Thank you, hope to stay again.

Alex was a great host and so accommodating. I stayed at the property with my Hockey team that participated in a hockey tournament in Albany and the home was close to everything we needed. He was very responsive and helpful which made the stay even better for our team.

Location was perfect for us, close to the stadium and not far to city centre. Very clean, comfortable and stocked with not only everything we needed but spoilt with the extras stocked in the fridge and pantry for us. Loved having the extra tv in the bedroom chrome cast for both so no arguments over what to watch. Host was quick to respond and friendly. Would definitely stay again.
