Vacation rentals with lake access in Lake Murray

We loved this house and will be looking to come back again. Really had a great time fishing and looking at the water and the house was so very peaceful. We had a wonderful time.

Ellen and Andy exemplify what it means to be welcoming hosts. The home was very spacious, perfect for a couples getaway - tucked away in a small inlet with a view of the lake from both the living room and the deck. Full sized kitchen is stocked with any utensils you need. The comfortable couches & the large, curved tv was perfect for unwinding and throwing on a movie in the evening. This was the best place I’ve ever stayed at in my ten years of using Airbnbs.

Not only was this the perfect lake getaway, but the owners went above and beyond with the items that were in the home. Just to name a few, games, movies, toys for kids, blankets, beach towels, firewood, extra bath supplies, grilling and beach area and a personal boat ramp, which was our fav! If you could think about needing it, it most likely was there! The location was great and not the busy side of the lake. Home was spacious and modern! The homeowners were very welcoming and helpful! We enjoyed our time there and plan a return trip. We loved everything!

We enjoyed our time at sunrise and sunset. The space was perfect for our family and felt very comfortable. The amount and options of water toys were a big hit. And, oh yeah, the views are amazing! Such a beautiful home and location. We’ll be back!

We loved staying @ Dovers Den!! It was in a perfect location. We will definitely be booking again in the future. The highlight of the house is definitely the screened in porch where we spent most of our time just taking in the scenery and enjoying good family fun. I highly recommend this place.

The house was clean and you can tell it is well maintained. The location is perfect if you are looking for something quiet and away from everything. The house sits at the end of a dead end street with only a few houses nearby. You don’t have to worry about any traffic and the neighbors were quiet as well. If you are looking for a quiet place on the lake I would definitely recommend this one.

Very welcoming and clean. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! Cayce is a great location, very central to all you’d want to access in Columbia and traffic in the area is never an issue. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent stay and hosts were very accommodating to our needs. We were in town for USC graduation and it was such a great place to escape for a few hours of rest in between events. Beautiful surroundings, my husband and kids used the kayaks and really enjoyed the time in the lake.

Jeff and Elizabeth are great hosts! They made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we walked through the door. They made fresh bread and had it waiting for us, along with an invite to a community event. Elizabeth and Jeff are lovely people and made us feel right at home. My teenage son told me to definitely book with them again next time I’m in town.

This location is very beautiful and quiet, the time I visited. This lake location would be a very busy place during the summer months. My week-long stay was very enjoyable for my work purposes. The internet was adequate. Thanks Vicki for hosting and sharing. Alvin

We put on a lot of miles every day taking in the area while staying at your lake home. When we returned everyday OMGosh! So relaxing and comfortable. We didn't want to leave. We will miss our 3 new buddies too. And well decorated. Perfect y'all. Jeff & Nancy

This place was peaceful and very relaxing. The host communicated effectively throughout my stay. Please walk the nature trail it is breathtaking and adds so much more to the stay.

House was perfect for a lake weekend with our family and our dogs.

Amber was extremely nice and very helpful! We had some issues finding a place and when we came to their place online she was accepting us last minute since we drove 8 hrs from home ! We had some issues while staying there with the WiFi and their was small other things but the big picture was it was peaceful and a place to lay our heads in a time of need! The lake was beautiful and the place was decorated also beautifully! The place is a place you can pray and find some healing ! I recommend this place and these owners any time !

Tommie's home was perfect for our stay! We were in the area for our son's graduation from USC which was only about 40 minutes away, and got us out of the hustle and bustle of the downtown Columbia area. The house was very CLEAN, and accomodations were perfect for our family of 5 adults, with great eating places near by. I would definitely consider booking again if in the area.

We were very pleased with our stay at the cottage. Everything matched the listing perfectly. The hosts provided a helpful book with information and local suggestions, which was great for those unfamiliar with the area. The location was fantastic. The view from the screened porch was stunning and peaceful throughout the day. We enjoyed watching the beautiful geese during our stay. The deck and boat launch were excellent, especially for my husband who was participating in a fishing tournament. Both were in great condition. We had a lot of fun using the kayaks. We're already looking forward to our next visit. No disappointments at all!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage on Lake Murray. Host Sheri was gracious, kind, and very attentive—she made sure we felt welcome and had everything we needed. The cottage itself is quaint and extremely clean, with a well-stocked kitchen that made meal prep easy and enjoyable. We loved the peaceful, secluded location—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The outdoor space was a highlight, with a hammock and chairs to unwind in and a lovely screened-in porch that was ideal for quiet evenings. The dock was perfect for fishing and enjoying the lake views. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unplug and recharge in a serene lakeside setting.

This place is awesome! It was perfect for our family of five. My favorite part was the screened in porch! The kids loved the sky chair. There were plenty of towels and good quality ones. They had everything we needed in the kitchen including containers for food. We had an enjoyable stay and would definitely stay again.
