Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Lake Murray

Our family and friends stayed during Masters week and appreciated the quiet, relaxing location that was only about an hours drive to Augusta, GA. It made for a quick morning commute without much traffic and allowed us to hop on the express way for a straightforward drive. The house offers plenty of rooms for multiple guests, and was exactly as described in the photos and other reviews! They did a great job welcoming us, offered suggestions on other activities to do in the area while we were in town. Our two friends who stayed with us made good use of the kayaks as well for some lake boating. It was so peaceful we didn't run into any other families, even though there are plenty of surrounding houses - the view of the lake is absolutely beautiful and anyone wanting a private upstairs master suite will love this location! Chris and his co-hosts were also incredibly responsive, polite, and helpful throughout our stay. Definitely consider this as a place to stay during The Masters!

We loved this home! It's very inviting , welcoming, beautifully decorated, and an awesome yard with a awesome sitting area. The pet area in the washroom is above and beyond any pet friendly place we've ever stayed. Sonia you are so thoughtful. We appreciate you everything.

Patty’s place is great! Super clean, beautifully furnished including lots of nice touches. Clear instructions for everything and very well-appointed. She is very responsive. Our stay was great and we would def stay with her again!

Really enjoyed the stay! Amos’s place was spotless, very modern, and had tons of things to do within the home! If you’re a Carolina Fan you will definitely enjoy, it’s the dream place to watch CFB at Williams Brice. Plenty of space for you and your friends. I will be adding Amos’s place to my favorites! Overall we loved the home. We ran into unfortunate timing with a new, what appeared to be a dry dock, being built which negated our outdoor activities. This was a great location for quiet lake time and a very beautiful setting, both out front and out back. Would definitely consider visiting again.

Mira’s home is wonderful, very clean, might be the cleanest home we’ve visited, it’s very well stocked, honestly all we needed to bring was our clothes!! We felt right at home in Mira’s home. The backyard is so peaceful and well landscaped we really enjoyed our afternoon’s in the sunshine. Mira is very responsive! We had an issue, or we thought we did, and Mira responded immediately, it really wasn’t an issue but knowing that Mira was there so fast made it very assuring for us. Ohhhh!! And the mattresses are amazing! Never have we had such comfortable mattresses in an AirB&B! I’m asking Mira what brand they are and getting one for myself! Mira is friendly and cares about her guests that visit her home.

Jeff and Elizabeth are great hosts! They made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we walked through the door. They made fresh bread and had it waiting for us, along with an invite to a community event. Elizabeth and Jeff are lovely people and made us feel right at home. My teenage son told me to definitely book with them again next time I’m in town.

We booked a last minute stay because we were in town for a funeral..Mark & Ruth were very accommodating. As for cleanliness probably one of the cleanest places I’ve stayed..the beds super comfy & just the best hosts! I hope we can come back again some time for a more relaxing reason :)

We loved this Airbnb! It was very private and beautiful back yard with fairy lights in the trees and a fire pit right by a brook. The apt was beautifully appointed, for a smaller space and perfectly set up. The bedrooms were roomy and Beds were very comfortable. I am definitely planning on staying there again on my next visit

It was very comfortable and homey. Quick drive to Columbia, very peaceful to come back to and relax after exploring. Beautiful view of Lake Murray with plenty to do and stores very close by. The hosts were very accommodating. They had refreshments, snacks, and basic necessities needed. Would highly recommend and would stay at again. ….thank you very much!!!!!!!

great little place super quiet

We had a wonderful time at the cabin. All the surroundings were just beautiful. We enjoyed having all our meals on the porch and just sitting in the rockers and watching the lake. The walk to the beautiful waterfall was a real treat as was watching the Ospreys feeding their baby. Michael is an excellent host and we feel blessed to have found this undisturbed treasure. We hope to be able to visit again soon.

We were in Chapin visiting family (my husband, me and our adult son) so we didn't spend much time at the cabin. We did love our two mornings and evenings at the cabin. The setting is peaceful and we loved sitting on the front porch and enjoying the views. The music system was a real treat, too. We wished we'd had more time to use the kayaks but, in any case, we view these as a big plus. The cabin has great character and has been renovated beautifully. We felt very fortunate to find this special place. We were not able to meet Tom and Laura but they provided clear instructions and we had everything we needed. The place may have been a bit tight if our adult daughter had joined us but we would have found a way to make it work. Highly recommend.

This was a really beautiful property and so quiet. Everything was as described and very clean. The pool, jacuzzi and fire pit were the highlights. We enjoyed our time here very much and would definitely return in the future. If you're looking for a nice cabin with a beautiful view, close to anything you would need at the stores, then you should stay here!

Very cute house, very small but was good for what we needed it for. We were only there for a bass tournament so the boat dock was most appealing to us. Hosts were very nice and helpful!

My girlfriends and I visited Alvin's place for a quiet weekend away from our busy schedules. We loved how peaceful it was. the perfect place to rest and relax. We also loved the proximity to state parks.

Cristina’s place was perfect for our stay. We were here for a softball tournament. The unit was very close to the fields. The unit was IMPECCABLY CLEAN!!! Beds/linens were very comfortable. Had everything we needed. We’d definitely book Cristina’s place should our travels bring us back to the area! We highly recommend her to future guests.

Great fishing house. Boat ramp was in good condition and was able to fit 2 trucks each with a boat in the drive way.
