Vacation rentals with lake access in Lake Junaluska

This is a wonderful place to stay! Spacious rooms, perfect for a relaxing vacation with family. The hosts are very kind and their communicative made our stay better than we could’ve hoped for. Will definitely return soon!

We had the most amazing and relaxing time on the property, everything was clean and gorgeous. The sound of the river was wonderful and a great way to relax as well as being beautiful. The home was also well stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals. The porch was a little oasis from the home itself and you could sleep out there it was so calming. The owners Dawn and Randall were very communicative and accommodating and made this process as easy as possible! We are definitely coming back to the area and would love to reserve this place again. 5/5 stars

This house was super comfortable, and the location is ideal for enjoying the Tuckasegee river centrally located close to Sylva and Dillsboro. The kitchen is updated with all the amenities. The two bedrooms are comfortable and the porch is well done and very relaxing. We also enjoyed bonfires at night in the adjacent fire pit

Peace on the French Broad ! My first river vacation and this was the right spot. You have to be aware it is in the path of the flood, however the owners have this place looking like it didn’t happen . The interior looks brand new , yard and landscape was awesome, kitchen was fantastic, couch comfy ( I slept my first night there with the windows open) , talk about perfection. You saw the neighbors still dealing with rebuilding , you knew the heartbreak felt by the Community . Visited Marshall to Shop for at the Co-Op, leaving our hearts full of snacks, vitamins and bedding plants. The bench by the riverbank was the best seat in the house. I honestly didn’t eat a single meal inside, the porch was the dining room, great for moon watching . The kid in me watched the train go by- who doesn’t love trains. I would definitely book with Billy again! Thanks again for sharing such a wonderful house!

I had an excellent experience at this Airbnb. The space was spotless, well-equipped, and very cozy. The host was very kind and always available for any questions. I felt right at home. I would definitely stay here again!

There were 4 lakeview dog friendly rental choices on my list & I believe I chose the best one. The house was adorable and has a large wrap around porch with flat easy parking enough for multiple cars. The view was awesome & the trail is right in front with a nice large corner lot. Lynette was nice enough to let me check in a little early and left us a pie! I would love to come back next year when its a little cooler before the lake gets drained in December & bring my elderly mom, even she could walk this trail & would enjoy the flowers at the Rose Walk.

Our stay at this beautiful mountain home in Waynesville, North Carolina, was absolutely magical! The living spaces were spacious yet inviting, perfect for quality time with family and friends. One of the highlights was waking up to the crisp mountain air and enjoying the sunrise from the porch. The peaceful surroundings and connection to nature made it a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. This home truly exceeded all our expectations, offering not just a place to stay

Although this place was beautiful from each bedroom to the steamed shower and clawfoot tub, what I appreciate the most is that there are no check-out chores! We had a relaxing Sunday morning and didn’t feel stressed to make sure we had completed a checklist. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Lovely, homey place in beautiful surroundings. Loved all the windows, the gas logs and the front porch. Very short easy walk to the lake. I will definitely stay here again on return trips to Lake Junaluska.

Solid place to stay for good value with everything needed for a week stay.

We felt right at home at Mary Ann's place. Everything was as described and instructions were clear. Mary Ann was very responsive and provided lots of documented local attractions, restaurants, etc. We would definitely stay here again!

Birdsong Cottage was absolutely delightful to stay it. It is exactly as described and pictured. It’s in a great location for walking around the lake or going to meetings in the main auditorium at the retreat center. The street it is on is very quiet and there were several wild bunnies, birds, and even a groundhog! It’s a quick and easy drive to Waynesville for some delicious local food and cute little shops. Sharon was lovely to work with, gave great instructions and replied to any questions quickly. I will for sure be staying here again.

This is a great spot for a family of four. The beds were comfortable. The space was big enough to spread out a little bit. The view from the deck is great as well. If you don't mind being 30 minutes away, this is a great place to stay while visiting Asheville. It's about an hour from Looking Glass Falls too. It's also a beautiful drive to the Tail of the Dragon from here. If you're coming from Raleigh this makes for a much shorter drive home after spending a day driving near the Dragon.

We really enjoyed the apartment for a weekend stay with our 1 year old. Great location to easily access Brevard and Pisgah. Camden was super responsive and had we needed anything, I’m sure she would have been right on it. Just in case anyone else is thinking about bringing their baby here- the closet is huge (there isn’t a door between it and bedroom) and easily held pack and play with Slumberpod over it but you could also put that set up within the bedroom itself if needed. We had no issue not having a full kitchen, the bathroom sink is large enough to wash small things if needed. This is a cute and unique way to experience brevard and would definitely recommend it!

This is an amazing place!! Beautiful view, great place to sit outside, close walking path, quiet, comfortable and nicely furnished. It was just so perfect!! Fell in love with the apartment and Lake Junaluska. Cannot say enough about what an exceptional place this was!

Great location I will certainly miss being able to walk right down to the lake. Leslie is a phenomenal host and did a great job of communicating and taking care of any things that came up during our roughly 8 month stay. she was also very accommodating in helping us and other tenants that were impacted by hurricane Helene. kudos Leslie well done!

This was my second stay at the cottage. The house was as beautiful as it was the first time back in 2020. The kids loved going for a walk around the lake and talking to the farm animals from outside their pen. The WiFi was fast. I had no problems driving my Tesla around the property. The hosts were very responsive. This location has close access to the Biltmore, Blue Ridge Parkway, NC Arboretum, and a Tesla Supercharger.

This is our third stay. We love coming here. Love the house and location. Always pristine clean and quick to respond if anything comes up. Near all our favorite things to do.

This is absolutely the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. I love to fish and the pond didn’t disappoint, caught bass, catfish and bluegill, it was a blast. It was so quiet and we really enjoyed the space by the pond. The home was immaculate!! We are already planning another trip to go back.

Ron and Debbie are wonderful. They always responded and went above and beyond. They make you feel so welcome. Homey little cottage feels like home and only five miles from town. Will definitely be back in the future.

This cottage in Lake Junaluska was absolutely perfect! Brian was quick to respond to my messages. Although, once we arrived, we didn’t need a thing! The house was beautiful and well-stocked with towels/bedding, kitchen utensils and appliances (coffee supplies as well!), and even small bathroom toiletries (if needed). Everything was so clean, and the decor was lovely. Our favorite spot was the sunroom! We spent many hours reading out there. It was so quiet and relaxing. The location was pretty perfect, too—within view of Lake Junaluska (right behind the covered basketball pavilion and the welcome center) and just a few miles down the road from all the wonderful restaurants and shops in Waynesville. My husband and I are already talking about staying here again!

With two full living spaces on different levels, there was great privacy and yet it had the perfect living area to gather and eat together. Within walking distance to the lake, gift store, community pool and rec center, as well as a couple of restaurants. House had everything you will need to relax and enjoy your time away from home. Hosts were very communicative and thoughtful in their touches with snacks and candies (loved by the kids), as well as items for coffee and tea, as well as a hand written note. Highly recommend!
