Looking for a remote cabin for a romantic getaway or a relaxing time in the big north woods? Ellen’s Cabin is off-grid, has no running water and limited cell service. 1/2 mile from a dirt road and the North Country Trail, in the rugged Michigamme Highands, close to Silver Lake and Dead River Basins. There are lots of opportunities for biking, hiking, fishing and canoeing. A winter wonderland if skiing or snowshoeing are your passions. We are 45 minutes from Ishpeming and an hour from Marquette.

A cabin in the woods. Off grid. With solar power and generator back up. All automated. Indoor plumbing, Running water, Full electric, automatic sauna. A refrigerator, microwave and full oven/cooktop at your disposal. 10 miles from Big Bay Michigan and 32 Miles from Marquette Michigan. Excellent access to the atv/snowmobile trails and the great outdoors in general. Hiking, Snowshoeing, Cross Country Skiing, Snowmobiling, 4 Wheeling, Fishing, Etc. 1220 feet above sea level, Huron Mountain Range.

Rustic Farm House

Secluded small farm house nestled in among maple, apple and pine trees. Lots of parking for trailers and guests. Wood burning Sauna on property. Just a short walk down the hill is our Private rock beach On Lake Superior with a fire pit to get cozy and watch the sunset. The main cabin also has a fire pit for your enjoyment. This is a quiet place with whitetail deer being the only thing to come and visit. Occasionally you’ll see bald eagles fly overhead looking for their dinner. Walking trails.

This stunning single bedroom property can sleep up to 4 guests, with 1 queen bed and a memory foam sofa bed in the living space. We have two cabins available for a total of 8 guests, rent them both! Historic woodland cabin, with access to Lake Independence (2min walk). Canoe, kayaks and rowboats available to borrow for exploring the lake. Located 2 miles before Big Bay, the cabin offers access to limitless outdoor activities. Fiber optic internet is provided. The cabin is directly across the road from the ATV/Snowmobile trails. We have been hosting guests in the local community for over 50 years, so we can always help make your U.P. adventures pleasant. Cabin is close to the road.

Chocolay River Cabin

Small hand hewn log cabin on Chocolay River. Good fishing, approximately 5 miles from snowmobile and ORV trails. Full kitchen. 1 BR (Q), Full sofa sleeper and 1 bath. Outdoor electric sauna. A fire pit. Washer/dryer. Basic amenities. Full kitchen. There is WiFi but cell service can be very sketchy. Texting does seem to work ok. We do have a cell phone booster there but it still isn’t great. If you need to make a call you can drive about 1 mile out to US 41 and service is good.

Located on the shore of Lake Superior is one of a kind property with 3 acres of wooded land perfect for 2. There is an awesome firepit area located right on the shoreline with views of Autrain Island, Grand Island and more... The Suite is a perfect getaway or honeymoon destination for couples looking for that special spot. There is a nice big TV, WiFi and Netflix, OR 2 big picture windows overlooking the Lake.
