My friends were visiting Colorado and wanted to spend the weekend in nature, Stillwater was the perfect spot to unwind. The house comfortably fit eight adults, with plenty of space to relax. The kitchen was impressively well-stocked, the beds were super comfortable, and the home itself was solidly built, everything felt high quality and thoughtfully designed. It’s just a 15-minute drive to restaurants and casinos, but honestly, we barely wanted to leave. The weekend we stayed, it snowed, and waking up to the most picturesque view—snow-capped trees and a frozen lake—was absolutely magical. The host was also flexible with checkin and checkout which was much appreciated.

A home away from home, a great base to explore the national park nearby. Will definitely be returning—has everything you need, quiet, and homey

This property was amazing !! We loved the secluded lakeside cabin with plenty of amenities and any gear you would want to use, available for you. Catherine and Chris were amazing hosts with flexible check in and very helpful with giving us info on the best hiking locations and information on how they’ve up-kept the lake by putting in an aeration system that allows the fish and wildlife to thrive there. Super close to the casino and skiing, a great location over all with a homey feel. Everything inside the home was well stocked and well maintained. It’s clear that these homeowners take pride in their property. It was truly so special to watch all the moose move through the lawn in the evenings and even a bald eagle soaring during the day over the lake !! We would love to visit again and give friends recommendations to stay here. Thank you !!

We booked the stay for our elopement. It was an excellent stay close to a surreal location. Dominique was extremely responsive and had clear instructions for check in and check out. We spent the days looking outside the window at the scenic views (sunrise from the balcony is incredible). The nights were restful because of the cozy bedrooms. Our close friends who stayed with us were equally impressed. We would love to visit again!

We can’t say enough good things about this home. It was clean, comfortable, well-furnished with games and kitchen equipment. We felt secluded and off the grid while also having easy access to nearby attractions. It was perfect for our family with young kids!!

My family of 6 stayed here for a few days while we skied at Granby Ranch. We had an awesome time. We had everything we needed. The house was stocked with plenty of pillows and blankets, toilet paper, and detergent for keeping up with laundry. We had an issue with the key pad the first day and the host responded and fixed the issue very quickly. We loved the sunrise views over the mountains each morning and watching/listening to beautiful creek running through the backyard. The fireplace was so cozy after a day at the slopes! My only wishes would be if there was a hot tub on the amazing porch, if the master bed mattress was a little more firm, and if there were blackout curtains in the bedrooms. Otherwise, it was perfect!!

Highly recommend this cabin if you are looking for a place to stay in Grand Lake! The house sits right on the lake, so the views from every level are incredible. It is very spacious and we had plenty of room for our family of 4. The kitchen is fully stocked. The location is great and only a short drive to downtown Grand Lake for plenty of restaurant options if desired. Everything was super clean and the host was very responsive. Check this place out if you want a mountain getaway!

we loved staying at Ali & Mike's cabin. All of their instructions were easy to follow, the space was clean, it's in a great location, and reasonably priced for the area. Also, you can rent snowshoes and board games at the canteen. Thanks for a great weekend!

Loved staying there. It’s gorgeous. My only suggestion is to make the address a little easier to see with a solar light.

If you are looking for an affordable place that is close to downtown without being in it, this is a great choice. The house was comfortable for us 4 guests and my dog, easy to find things in the home, in a quiet spot, and right behind a creek which added to the atmosphere. There's a pub right next door as well. The hosts sent a lot of communication and gave us a heads up about the weekend weather, and were always friendly and responsive. I dont have anything but great things to say about the rental and hosts. This will definitely be an option for lodging again in the future.

This place was perfect for two couples. It’s nice to have two living spaces if someone wants to stay up late/get up early. It had all the items we needed to enjoy our stay and we would definitely stay here again. I would recommend having 4wd in the winter months.

Mike and Erin’s cabin is a magical get away! We loved spending our anniversary here. We spent our evenings around the fire pit and even had a dip in the cold lake! The cabin is all you could ask for and more. Well stocked, clean, cozy, and close to the town. We will certainly be coming back!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this rental property, and I can’t say enough good things about it! From the moment I arrived, everything was fantastic. The property is impeccably clean, which is a huge plus for me as someone who is germophobic—it truly exceeded my expectations. The large master bathroom was a wonderful addition, and I especially loved how dark and cozy the bedroom is, ensuring restful nights of sleep. The breathtaking views of Grand Lake are definitely a highlight! As a real estate investor, I appreciate the high standards of this property—it’s simply amazing! The convenience of having a Keurig machine is a nice touch; just remember to bring your favorite K-Cups. Plus, there’s covered parking available, adding to the overall convenience. For downtime, you'll find plenty of books to read and games to enjoy. Thank you for providing such an outstanding experience! I highly recommend this rental to anyone seeking a beautiful, clean, and comfortable getaway!

We loved the space. It is convenient to shopping and multiple ski resorts. The unit is clean and well appointed. Cory and D were great hosts and took good care of us during our stay.

What a lovely cabin with amazing views. My favorites were the natural bubbling spring that passes through the property, the view of Shadow Mountain Lake, and well- stocked and modernized residence. The beds were difficult for each of the group to find comfort , both hardness and in maneuverability around the bed in the smaller room. (Lots of bruised thighs and hips). Better for more agile and younger folks in those bedrooms, for sure! We felt right at home and pampered. Thank you!😊

My family enjoyed the quick access to and from the lift. This allowed my family to enjoy meals between skiing. The condo had plenty of space and was warm and cozy retreat to rest and relax. It is also close to a grocery store and not far from multiple towns to grab food if needed.

Great stay! Clean and well-equipped, incl. consumables like Dove shower products, condiments/spices, laundry soap, etc. Amenities (fireplace, hot tub w/unobstructed view) both SO nice after days cross-country skiing. Having a garage such a treat on cold mornings. Almost 100% as pictured - note the white towel robes are no longer provided in case you want to pack one! - otherwise very accurate. Lots of blankets, linens, pillow choices for sleeping, so bed was comfortable & customizable. 2nd BR/BA across the house from primary; nice for privacy if a group. Outstanding host - one of the best we've stayed with. We almost needed to extend by one night last-minute due to winter storms forecast (at home, ironically), for our departure day. Although we ultimately made it out on time, Sarah was SO communicative and would have rearranged the cleaners so we could stay until early the following morning. We love this area and hope to return again next year; would happily stay again!

Place feels like a home with a beautiful view with all amenities , kitchen has pretty much everything for making coffee and cooking etc. We have really enjoyed staying at this place. Thanks to the host.

We have stayed quite a few places in the Colorado mountains over the years. My husband and I both agreed that this place was, bar none, the best and nicest place we have ever stayed. We booked it nearly a year in advance when we found out our friends from England were going to be coming for Christmas and it did not disappoint. The kitchen was amazingly well stocked and the local grocery store and a few fast food eats were only a 5-minute drive. Located right off of Highway 40 this was easy access to activities in the area. Cindy was extremely helpful and responsive with the one question we had. We would definitely stay here again!
