Please note: Lake Buchanan is NOT a constant level lake and the water level will fluctuate with rain or drought. The nearest boat ramp is at Burnet County Park, about 6.4 miles (11 minutes) from the house. It is free to access. The dock is most suitable for shallow-bottom fishing boats. Great swimming and fishing off the bank. Enjoy large fire pit by the water . Sleeps 2-4 and is fully contained . You can sit and enjoy the porch swing or light your fire pit. The swimming pool never closes. We rent another cabin and RV so it is possibly shared .
