Monthly Rentals in Lake Biwa

The incredibly modern and tranquil house was equipped with everything you would wish for. It was a calm oasis in a lush, historic environment. The shrine behind the house was very impressive. Shinsuke is a takes care very well of his guests. We felt at home instantly.

Shiho’s place was located along the “coastal” road of Lake Biwa and it is very easily reachable. There is a dedicated parking slot right in front of the entrance which made it easy for us to park and travel around Otsu and Kyoto. Lovely places and the actual AirB&B was just like the listing. Otsu was a great host and gave several great recommendations!

Beautiful home next to Lake Biwa. Its a refreshing break from the city and the neighbors are all very nice. The house was very clean and spacious, the host was always responsive and helpful, even gave me a ride when I left back to the train station so I didn't have to walk with all my luggage. Only downside would be the steep stairs, so if you have balance issues maybe sleep in the room downstairs. Overall very nice place and my 2 weeks went by too quickly here. Will definitely rebook next time I'm in Kyoto/Osaka area.
