Monthly Rentals in Lagunitas-Forest Knolls

We had such a nice time staying in Carolyn's cabin for the weekend. The kitchen and bathroom were well-stocked and the living and sleeping spaces were cozy. The best part was the surroundings. It felt so peaceful and serene to be surrounded by redwoods and hear the babbling creek. We took a walk through the neighborhood to a short trail that Carolyn had recommended and it was definitely a highlight of the weekend for us. Can't say enough good things about the peaceful, lovely location. Would love to come back!

My father-in-law stayed here for a number of months while he was house hunting. The location is super convenient - just a minute's walk to shops and restaurants. He was delighted that the kitchen was fully stocked with pretty much every piece of equipment he could need and commented on how clean the place was (he's picky). A dedicated parking spot was a big bonus. The apartment was cozy and had heat as well as two window AC units (in LR and bedroom), which was critical during a couple of heat waves. He found the bed comfortable and the bedroom quiet enough since it faces away from downtown. (If you need complete quiet, this isn't the spot for you, but for being located so close to the main drag, it's not bad.) On the one occasion there was a glitch with the internet & TV, the host was extremely responsive and had someone come out within a couple of hours to get it fixed. She also gives you a direct line to the internet person and cleaning lady. Great service. Would recommend!

What an amazing stay! We spent the long holiday weekend here and thoroughly enjoyed every second. The host was so nice, she showed us around the apartment upon arrival. We also got a visit from one of the cute cats to welcome us. The guest suite is small but mighty, we did not feel cramped. We were nervous about the Murphy bed but it was so comfortable and we slept well. The town of Fairfax is full of great restaurants and friendly people. We used this as our base for many local hikes and it did NOT disappoint! We had a great weekend. We even had dinner in the deck while enjoying a view of the redwoods and listening to owls. I cannot wait to come back for another adventure in this great Airbnb.

Silvana is such a sweetheart! I wish we got to meet but even through messages she was so thorough, helpful, kind, and proactive. The space was exactly as described and I was surprised with the space! More than plenty for 2 people. We even loved the back patio to listen to the birds and see the morning mist/dew on the greenery. Kitchen is well equipped for cooking, and the mini heater is perfect for the weather. Bed is so comfy. My only note would be that the shower space is limited to standing so keep that in mind if you are handy capped or need the extra room. I would love to come back! The area was so beautiful and there is so much to do nearby. Thank you for letting us stay!
