Cottage vacation rentals in Lac de Vassivière

A true haven of peace! In the middle of nature and sheep! Cheerful! The amenities were perfect!

We loved our stay, the cottage is very comfortable. The terrace and garden are really great for breakfast with the view of the valley which is beautiful. The sunset in the sun loungers… A beach by the river is a 15-minute walk away. Our dogs also enjoyed nearby walks. In short, the ideal stay.

Travel with friends with our kids. The place was spotless, very relaxing, and refreshing. The + 2 pools and hot tub (small downside for the screen that made its own). Attention provide salt, pepper, soap etc because contrary to what is indicated it is not available... Very responsive hosts before and during the stay. We just wish the guidelines were that the guidelines weren't as much guidance. We understand that there are rules to follow but we had the impression on several occasions of being treated like children and it's a bit of a shame because we are also there to enjoy the stay while knowing how to respect the place. I highly recommend this listing!

We had a great time in this beautiful cottage. Exceptional views, idyllic setting for our weekend. everything is provided in the cottage with quality amenities. Edwige is very welcoming and very kind. This is our second stay and we can only recommend it. We'll be happy to go back.

Great stay. Isabelle and her husband are very welcoming and friendly. They gave us places to visit the region and its surroundings. The accommodation is well placed in a small quiet and relaxing village. Thank you for the small touches on our arrival. See you soon perhaps for mushroom picking.

Quiet house in a bucolic environment. The accommodation is spacious, clean, pleasant, true to the description. The exteriors are superb, very large expanses of grass, very pleasant outdoor terrace, with dining table and garden furniture, superb spa, swimming pool present but not used (April). The hot tub was a real plus to enjoy the outdoors in mid-season. Late check-in with a key lockbox was possible.

Beautiful home in a wooded quiet area. Beautiful enclosed garden. Our dog really enjoyed it here and so did we! Louise is very sweet to animals and friendly and hospitable to people. Upon arrival there were snacks for our dog and a surprise for us! Top location!

Quiet privacy in the countryside - home is a renovated building adjacent to Darren's house so you share the same property yet feel complete privacy with a fenced backyard. Darren was always accessible and responsive when needed. Would book again! Scott & Shaniah

We had a great time with friends. In the expert hands of Emmanuel, host of unparalleled kindness, benevolence and energy. Always present to respond to our requests, with flawless responsiveness, we were able to have access to all the amenities necessary for our comfort. Also, he was extremely present to advise us on the best spots and activities in the area, all very good suggestions / addresses. Finally, the house offered a quiet, intimate setting sheltered from view, with all the right amenities. A perfect disconnection (because yes the network is not very present) to have a relaxing vacation. And finally, between the swimming pool, table tennis and pétanque terrain at home, we didn't get bored for a single moment. Thanks to Sam for hosting us and for his kindness. His place is quiet and great! Our family felt at home. Sam shared his passion for alpacas with us. My 10 and 7 year old children were delighted to be able to feed the alpacas every day. An extraordinary experience for our little ones. We recommend it. Vera and Clark are hosts as we like to have them every time. Kind and considerate. We feel that their customers' satisfaction comes first. The cottage is brand new and extremely comfortable. The setting is of great tranquility and our stay was in every way ideal. We'll definitely be back.

We just finished our stay. An amazing stay. A little nest nestled in peaceful and beautiful nature. It is a place that I really recommend for nature lovers, the trees, birdsong and ponds really bring an extraordinary peace. We even managed to catch fish, to our delight. We had a warm welcome, it was a really nice meeting.

The house is very beautiful, quiet and very well-equipped. The wood burning stove is a real plus during the cool seasons. The small living room in the back with its veranda is much appreciated. Keep an eye out for the rather slippery terrace. And there is a downside on the rate of electricity that is charged. There should be a change of supplier contract ^^

A little slice of heaven in the heart of Limousin. The house is charming, simple and comfortable with a view of a beautiful quiet and peaceful garden. Many outdoor games are available for children. The hosts are warm and welcoming. We had a great time with the family. We would highly recommend it!
