Fishermen are not forgotten and several water activities are offered in summer as well as horse or pony rides. The view is worth it with sloping stairs. Infants are welcome but nothing is provided for their comfort.

Upstairs there is a bedroom with a double bed and a bedroom that opens onto the landing with a single bed, a cabin bed and a bed in a tree house. 4G accessible. The Payolle site is a magical place called "little Canada" because the lake is lined with beautiful fir trees. You can do many different activities.

Absolutely P.E.R.F.E.C.T!! A little place straight out of a dream. A real cocoon where you feel at home. The accommodation offers unparalleled tranquility, everything is peaceful, the landscapes are beautiful, the terrace offers a view of the horizon but also of the stars that leaves you speechless. The room... Damn... The room is so pleasant and cozy. Especially with the decoration, the light, the home cinema, the mattress that takes you to another continent... I should mention that Madame and I had come to spend a pleasant time before leaving for the mountains to tour the Ayous Lakes. And we want to tell you that it was hard to have to leave this wonderful place after just one night. Honestly, don't hesitate to book a stay here. You may fall in love with it from the moment you step inside. Thanks so much for this experience!

We had a great week at Lake Payolle in this ideally located studio. The view from the apartment is simply magnificent: the mountains with their peaks still snow-covered, and just at the foot, the lake surrounded by nature. A real living picture! Every day, we were able to walk directly from the accommodation to do great hikes, all different from each other. It is a perfect starting point for nature and walking lovers. The studio is well designed for two people, with a sleeping area separated by a curtain, which is convenient. The kitchen is very well equipped: stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher… everything you need to cook comfortably. Getting the key via a lockbox was very simple and convenient. We leave delighted with our stay, rested and with wonderful memories. We highly recommend this rental!

The Bee Shed

The Bee House was a wonderful base for exploring the Pyrenees! The view from the house is picture-perfect and the house itself is lovely. We appreciated having the laundry available (no dryer, but a drying rack is provided) and the kitchen had all that we needed. A couple of things to know: If you are unfamiliar with the Pyrenees, there is often a drive involved in getting to different hikes and outdoor attractions because they are spread throughout the range. This home is not as close as other options, but every drive is stunningly beautiful and we did not regret our choice in lodging. Also, there is a steep hill to climb up to the cabin. There are wooden ties put in to aid in grip and erosion, but they are not stairs. In addition, the staircase does not have a traditional railing and is open on the outside edge. As with many staircases in Europe, it is more steep than American standards. Just be aware if you book. If you are fit to handle the climbing, this is a wonderful house!
