I couldn’t have asked for a more magical stay at Luci and her husband’s cabin. From the moment I arrived, I felt transported into a serene snowy retreat. The cabin itself was impeccably clean, cozy, and filled with charming touches that made it feel like home. Nestled in the beautiful woods, the surroundings were breath-taking—a perfect winter wonderland. Luci and her husband were exceptional hosts—welcoming, attentive, and thoughtful. They went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed for a comfortable and memorable stay. Whether it was the warm ambiance inside or the tranquillity of the snowy landscape outside, every moment was a joy. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful escape into nature. I can’t wait to return and experience its magic all over again!

This is one of those perfect places that you dread leaving a review for because you don’t want it to get too discovered! I have always loved the lakes basin and it’s been a long time goal to spend a chunk of the summer in the area. I spent two months in the cabin and it couldn’t have been better. It was well stocked with everything I needed, clean and comfortable. Lauren was friendly and communicative. I worked remotely the whole time and aside from a scheduled power outage one day and a few hour surprise outage on another, I didn’t have any trouble connecting or with zoom conferences. For me, the cabin was perfectly sized as well—relatively small (I was there alone for a while) but with plenty of places for friends to sleep. A bear visited the apple tree more than once. Sierra City is an amazing location if your priorities are hiking and swimming. The locals are friendly, the Red Moose is awesome, there’s a live music series at the Kentucky Mine Museum. I was so sad to leave.

Casey and Stacias place was great! Very easy check in with clear instructions. The cabin was so cute and cozy! Had a great stay and will definitely be back.
