We had a great time in this beautiful cottage. Exceptional views, idyllic setting for our weekend. everything is provided in the cottage with quality amenities. Edwige is very welcoming and very kind. This is our second stay and we can only recommend it. We'll be happy to go back.

A true haven of peace! In the middle of nature and sheep! Cheerful! The amenities were perfect!

Travel with friends with our kids. The place was spotless, very relaxing, and refreshing. The + 2 pools and hot tub (small downside for the screen that made its own). Attention provide salt, pepper, soap etc because contrary to what is indicated it is not available... Very responsive hosts before and during the stay. We just wish the guidelines were that the guidelines weren't as much guidance. We understand that there are rules to follow but we had the impression on several occasions of being treated like children and it's a bit of a shame because we are also there to enjoy the stay while knowing how to respect the place. I highly recommend this listing!

We loved our stay, the cottage is very comfortable. The terrace and garden are really great for breakfast with the view of the valley which is beautiful. The sunset in the sun loungers… A beach by the river is a 15-minute walk away. Our dogs also enjoyed nearby walks. In short, the ideal stay.

The cottage was very nice, the house remains cool without air conditioning, it's a real advantage in summer. The hosts are adorable, they had left us little touches when we arrived (drink, fresh bread and eggs from their chicken), they were charming throughout the stay and even installed a safety gate on the stairs for our 2.5-year-old son. They are very discreet and sharing the pool is no problem. Ron and Belinda are perfect hosts!

Our stay went very well. Large house, consistent with photos and description. The area is very quiet, with the lake very close to the house. Michael is very responsive and gives all the information you need on time. I would highly recommend! Thanks again, Zoe.

After a crush on the introductory photos, the wishlist was confirmed upon arrival. It is an authentic and unspoiled natural setting, a remote place ideal for recharging off the noises. The proximity to the river, the sound of the water, the singing of birds, nature in spring: happiness...without forgetting Yuri: the dog of the house: a dog's love. There is everything you need in the surrounding villages. Anne is a very welcoming host like the place: natural , authentic and available. Our stay was refreshing and rich and we are happy to have crossed the road to Anne.

We spent New Year's Eve with friends with our children. A bathroom with toilet per room, the kitchen is very nice, the house is very cozy, very clean, the beds are made on arrival. Everything was perfect !

Excellent weekend, very nice accommodation, Didier and his wife are very welcoming and very responsive. Recommended if you're in the area.

Charming little house furnished and decorated with taste close to the many hiking trails around the lake of Vassiviere.

We had a short quality stay (3 nights) at Nicolas's. Easy check-in and checkout. Clean places, very well equipped, close to shops and village activities. Very good communication with Nicolas... and in addition a welcome gift was waiting for us.

We fell in love! This is an old house, comfortable and well equipped where you can feel at ease... with a new shower soon! Really Françoise is an angel! The path in front of the house that takes us into the middle of nature with its deer and squirrels is an incredible asset for the city dwellers that we are. Thank you Francoise for hosting us.

We had a pleasant stay in this house located in a small isolated hamlet (car required for any need). Calm and serenity are kings. You can feel that the house has been lived in and that it is authentic, a little in its original condition but that contributes to charm. Everything you need is on site, including children's games! Arnaud's parents next door are lovely, available and attentive. Go and recharge your batteries!

Thanks to Sam for hosting us and for his kindness. His place is quiet and great! Our family felt at home. Sam shared his passion for alpacas with us. My 10 and 7 year old children were delighted to be able to feed the alpacas every day. An extraordinary experience for our little ones. We recommend it. We had a lovely stay. it's a beautiful cottage with a beautiful pool. The place is quiet and well located between Bellac and the Dorat. The owners are discreet but present if needed.

We had a very pleasant stay in Marie-Christine's house. The accommodation was clean, it is very well equipped, tastefully decorated, with good bedding, a pleasant outdoor space and is located in a quiet environment. Possibility to do a walking loop from Malval, and first swimming sites and other hiking trails 20 or 30 min drive away. Abundant documentation available in the house on this beautiful region, and Marie-Christine answered our questions rather quickly. Good place!

Vera and Clark are hosts as we like to have them every time. Kind and considerate. We feel that their customers' satisfaction comes first. The cottage is brand new and extremely comfortable. The setting is of great tranquility and our stay was in every way ideal. We'll definitely be back.

We just finished our stay. An amazing stay. A little nest nestled in peaceful and beautiful nature. It is a place that I really recommend for nature lovers, the trees, birdsong and ponds really bring an extraordinary peace. We even managed to catch fish, to our delight.
