Beach condo vacation rentals in La Jolla, San Diego

This was a great location, we loved being right on the beach and the walking path. The apartment was easy to access and had everything we needed, including walkable restaurants and parking. Tina was responsive, and helped us to find everything we needed.

Great location. Kids got a day at the beach. Zoo was about 15 minutes away and sea world (I would have skipped) was 5 minutes away. Wednesday night ocean beach has a farmers market about 3/4 of a mile away. we walked down and we found delicious food for dinner, fresh produce, clothing and art. it was awesome. would highly recommend blue water seafood, you can either walk down the beach or on the sidewalks to get there and Benedict's for breakfast( it's so close and delicious we went there twice. pro tip--if your stay is for a few days or longer walmart will deliver groceries. if we ever return to San Diego this will be the place we will stay!

Title: Great Value, but be Prepared for Noise I recently stayed at this Airbnb and had an overall positive experience. The location was fantastic—easy to find, and it was conveniently close to local attractions and restaurants. The host was responsive and friendly, making the check-in process smooth. The space itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. Considering the price compared to other options in the area, I felt it was a great value. However, one thing to note is that the property is in the flight path for San Diego airport. While this wasn’t an issue once I fell asleep, the noise from the planes, neighbors, and outdoor sounds made it a bit challenging to get to sleep on the first few nights. The walls seemed a bit thin, so I could hear quite a bit of outside noise. Overall, I'd recommend staying here, but be prepared for the noise—especially if you're a light sleeper. Amazing location! The apartment has floor to ceiling windows and the view of the ocean is spectacular. The beds and couches were comfortable. You can hear the waves crashing because you are so close to the beach. We enjoyed going to sleep to the sound of the waves and going for walks along the water in the mornings. The location was just 15-20 away from every sight we wanted to visit in the San Diego area. We appreciated that there were beach towels, beach chairs and a football to borrow. The laundry machines are down the hall, not in the apartment, if that matters to you. We had no trouble using them.

Great stay at Glenna's place on Mission Bay. It's a spacious apartment, incredibly well equipped. With kids there was everything. The Garage is perfect to not stress about parking. Walk right out onto the bay, walk two blocks and be on the oceanside. Good food and coffee locations, playground across the street. Strongly recommend.

We loved our stay! The pictures, description, and positive guest reviews are accurate: this is a beautiful, clean condo with comfortable beds and stunning views. It was perfect for our family trip (three people) and could accommodate a larger group, too. The location is close enough to local restaurants/activities without being so close as to hear the commotion. We saw dolphins from the balcony on multiple occasions and even spotted a whale! We had an amazing stay. Chris was very responsive. The view is incredible. Hearing the waves is soothing. The place is kids friendly with toys and books that are very fun. The area has lots of food choices. It takes just a few mins to be right on the beach. He has a wagon and beach toys. This was a very hassle free, enjoyable stay with our three little kids. No one wanted to leave.

We loved Imperial Beach. We toured the entire area and this was by far the best. The accommodations were wonderful and we would highly recommend it.

Breath taking views of the ocean. Amazing private beach, pools and hottub. Walkable to great restaurants. We’re definitely coming back.

This worked great for a short vacation in San Diego with our family of 4. loved that the trundle bed allowed each of our kids to have their own bed. It was a convenient location, quiet, and we enjoyed the hot tub! We had what we needed in the kitchen though the nonstick cookware is quite worn and the plastic cooking utensils were a bit flimsy.

We had a great time at Denise's place! Condo was stocked with everything we needed and a lot we forgot to bring. Very clean and exactly as described. Walking distance to a great park with pickleball and tennis courts, an off leash dog park and multiple soccer fields. Short walk to a quiet beach. Great views...the best location in the development with both bay and ocean views.!

The location of this apartment cannot be beat! It's a couple of blocks away from the beach and around the corner from a very cute commercial street filled with good restaurants. The apartment looks exactly like the pictures, and Niloo was incredibly flexible and accommodating regarding check in and check out. My only complaint is that sound proofing in the building could be better. Otherwise, a delightful stay!

Warren is a great host, he was responsive, checked in with us to make sure everything was okay. The house is beautiful and clean, he has his own streaming services on the TV, kitchen full of utensils, walking distance to the beach, and there’s bikes and beach equipment you can use. Overall it was a great stay and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone else. Thank you Warren.

Second time staying in this complex and Catherine’s place was stunning! Clean and neatly organized with everything we needed. Plenty of bath towels and linens. Could have used a few more pool/beach towels but we loved everything about this stay! Will be back soon.

We started out on the wrong foot for our stay. When we arrived we found that the cleaning crew had not been and the house was not ready for us. Once I notified the owners they quickly found us another close by unit to stay for night and were wonderfully responsive. Very much appreciated as it was after dark and we had sleepy kiddos. We returned to the house the next day and overall enjoyed our trip very much. Close to lots of great food and beaches. It's easy to be a good host when everything goes off without a hitch much harder when the unexpected happens. Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic stay in San Diego! The home is beautiful and located in a fantastic spot. It’s just a stone’s throw away from the grand view beach staircase access. This is my second time staying in this home, and I can’t wait to return and visit again soon.

The condo was amazing inside and out. You cannot beat the views of the Pacific! Every bedroom, and the main room have large sliding glass doors that look directly out over the ocean. Tons of seating and a large kitchen if you decide to cook. Having a bathroom for each bedroom was also great! Overall I had a great time, and I will definitely be coming back!

This is one of my favorite Airbnbs. Myself, my friends, and family have all stayed here multiple times due to the large space for guests, walkability to the beach and restaurants, and overall fantastic location! Amy is always extremely helpful and is a fantastic host! I highly recommend her spot!

Evan's place was a fantastic spot to unwind and reflect. I was dealing with the recent loss of a family member, so this was more than just a getaway for me. The sound of the surf really calmed me, and as a vacation spot it would be difficult to improve on his place. I hope to return when I'm in a more centered frame of mind.

We had an amazing stay here!! Beautiful ocean views, the most wonderful beach nearby in walking distance, and the home was exactly as described. Everything was perfect and felt so luxurious. We cooked every day in the kitchen, and we had everything we needed! The kitchen was well stocked. We were grateful to have so many towels as we would go to the beach twice a day or more!! We didn’t get to use the pool because we were so busy, but what an added plus to have as an option! The bed was extremely comfortable, and there were plenty of spare linens/blankets if needed. The AC was so nice! Bathrooms were stocked and spotless! It was our first time staying somewhere with a washer/dryer in the unit, and now I can’t imagine ever staying somewhere without one!! Getting into the Airbnb and parking in the garage was so easy, and we appreciated Anne checking in on us. This is our favorite Airbnb that we have ever stayed at in California, and we hope to be back soon :) we were so impressed!!

This was an amazing place to stay in Carlsbad. Was in the perfect spot to walk to all our favorite places for food and beach. I was a little surprised when I got inside the home as it was so beautiful and spacious inside. It was clean and had no clutter. The pictures definitely do not do this place justice as it’s a spectacular home. Loved it will be back

From check in to check out, the entire process was as easy as it gets! This was my family’s first time in San Diego and the view was all we could hope for! The space was clean and stocked with all the amenities that allowed us to enjoy in comfort! It was a lovely place for this family of 4 to enjoy the beach and the nightly beautiful sunsets!

Great location - walkable to many restaurants & beaches. Very comfortable condo with great deck and awesome views of the ocean. Hoping to return in the future and would recommend this condo for others considering a getaway long weekend!
