Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in La Douze

Caroline and Gilles are very warm and friendly hosts who were immediately available for questions. The listing is as described in the photos. It's a really extraordinary, very large apartment. The living room (formerly the station hall) resembles a museum, Caroline and Gilles have collected old station utensils and pictures and exhibited them there. House and garden are lovingly restored and designed, the two have invested a lot of work (and money) to make the old train station a wonderful accommodation. There is nothing missing in the kitchen. The center of Le Bugue is about 1 km away, via the beautiful bike path "voie verte" it is 4 km. We really enjoyed the bike tours and our accommodation. I also enjoyed the personal contact and a little "chat" in the evening, so I could use the "rusty" French skills again. Thank you for everything!

We loved this place. The location was perfect. Just steps away from the most beautiful medieval town of Sarlat. Close to a grocery store and a bank. You can park in front of the apartment for one hour free. Then you can easily find free parking down the street turn right at the Park sign. More parking up the road. We very much enjoy our stay in this lovely apartment.

From the moment we arrived it felt like home away from home, great location in the heart of Serlat, perfect for two couples, plenty of room, any questions asked where answered straight away, we were even able to stay an extra night which was great. Only one critic ! The bathroom with bath would be good if we could gang the shower head up ? That is my only critic, as the bath is amazing 🙂

Thank you to our host for hosting us, the accommodation is very well furnished and functional, close to the city center, we were able to do everything on foot 👍

Great weekend spent in this apartment where I was able to relax and enjoy my time! If I come back to Perigueux, I'll stay there again. 😁

I highly recommend Pascale's accommodation, everything is perfect, the location, the equipment, the environment (the countryside in the city!), the shops nearby not to mention the hosting which is great! For sure we will come back!

Beautiful location on a pedestrian street, shop nearby, very beautiful village in the heart of the Dordogne, market on Thursday, very well-equipped apartment. Paid parking space. Just the bedding is not very comfortable because it is a sofa bed. Very decent set

Nice place near le Bugue centre - you need a car to reach it. Le Bugue has got everything you need. Good base for visiting the beautiful old villages and river. Sandrine recommended a very good restaurant and chateau with beautiful trees/plants park in Campagne very near her place. It gets very hot in this area. The place isn't suitable for anyone who can't climb a narrow spiral staircase.

The house - beautiful, an old building, high rooms, wonderfully cool even at over 30 degrees, if you close and darken windows and doors during the day. A wide cuddle sofa and a good TV for the evening. Despite the city, very quiet; now in June in the evening when opening the windows, the calls of the swallows and other birds and sweet scent (linden?)A nice little garden. Everything is very tasteful and stylishly furnished, very good beds - we would have liked to take the mattresses with us ;))). Everything is very clean. We recommend the second bakery on Rue Claude Bernard - also good patisserie, and the restaurant Sous les Tilleuils-, rue judaique - very good value for money, a young creative cook, charming, relaxed service. Excursion: definitely Brantome, pretty town, surrounded by the river, with boat trip (definitely recommended, nice staff, information sheets in English, German and Spanish), and from there Bimbillou Museum, bar and food truck-shady island in the middle of the river.

Beautiful little terrace house in Belves within walking distance of the centre of the village. Lots of lovely bars and restaurants within. Five minute walk. The house is well equipped and very comfortable. The steps to the outside terrace are very steep and could be slippery if damp but the area is lovely to relax in. Lots to see and places to visit in this beautiful part of France.

We had a great time with the family (with two young children and our dog). The accommodation was impeccable, very clean, pleasant to stay in and perfectly as advertised. The environment is quiet and relaxing, ideal for relaxing. The host was very welcoming and responsive to our messages, which made our stay even more serene. Check-in and check-out procedures are simple and convenient. We would recommend it without hesitation. Thank you again.

A very nice little house in the middle of Montignac. We've rarely had such a nice AirBnB. Florie informed us very well and was easily accessible. This cottage is worth a visit.

Honestly one of the most spectacular places I have ever stayed at we didn’t want to leave! Absolutely gorgeous and serene. There is a calmness to the area and everything in the house made it so easy. Our family had a magical time here and Jil was incredible. So helpful and kind. It was like visiting and staying at an old friend’s. The town was beautiful with very friendly people. Jil and Thomas have thought of everything you might need to the stereo system outside to the bbq and electric shutters for a perfect night sleep. We can’t wait to come back again and make it a tradition to stay here! 😍

We had a great time with the family at Magali's. Very flexible and warm welcome, the house is really a gem in this very well maintained, equipped, swimming pool and garden not overlooked, provision of games… everything to have a good time! And the real plus: a bathroom and toilet per bedroom. Thank you for this beautiful stay, enjoyed by young and old.

A wonderful and perfect location to explore the Dordogne. Made even more special by the attention to detail, and lovely personal touches, by the best of hosts Thierry. The story of his thoughtful restoration of the accommodation added to our pleasure. Thierry made us feel very at home. We are sat in the airport and already planning a return. Enchanté Thierry.

We had a lovely stay, in a very well arranged apartment, very clean, quiet and at the same time close to the center we wanted to visit. A warm welcome.

A perfect position, a few minutes walk from the historic centre, and easy to come and go from. The home was comfortable with all the amenities we needed for our 4 day stay. We did not meet our hosts, but they were very helpful in sending recommendations for sites and restaurants in the area and very quick to respond to our questions. I would not hesitate to recommend this place as a perfect base for a stay in the Dordogne area.

Maggie has a well-equipped apartment, everything we needed was present up to and including an ironing board and iron. Apartment stays pleasantly cool at outside temperatures of around 30 degrees. On the terrace, there are comfortable armchairs with footstools and a dining table with 4 chairs. During the day, there is a lot of traffic on the road that runs past the terrace and garden. Fortunately, there is little traffic noise in the evening. We could park our car on the premises and with 10 minutes you walk to Sarlat, as well as to the Carfour market. Sarlat itself is beautiful but on a market day too crowded for our taste. In the evening, it is a pleasant town for a snack and a drink.

Ariane's apartment is one of our absolute favorites! Very clean and well maintained, elegantly furnished, great location and Ariane is super friendly and helpful. We highly recommend the apartment!

Location is a gated community that has a mix of residents and rentals. Beautiful countryside view. close to town. 4 minute drive to Carrefour grocery store. Steep hill down to town would be challenging for some walkers. There were a number of stone outside steps up to the apartment level. Very clean inside the apartment with comfy beds. Water power in upstairs toilette was weak. Overall a great choice in Sarlat.
