The accommodation was the best part of our stay in Alta. When we thought of a place where we could make the most of our experience in the Arctic Circle, we never imagined that there could be something so magical. A snowmobile trail, northern lights, a cabin that couldn't be more cozy, a Jacuzzi, an outdoor igloo to grill and not get cold while watching the northern lights and all the snow around, an outdoor area in the woods with a zip line and a swing. It was an incredible experience, undoubtedly the best in Alta. I would pay a lot more to enjoy this place, because for everything it offers, the price is great. Unbeatable!!! Thank you!!!

Very friendly host. Fantastically beautiful cottage, very cozy. Very quiet and quiet environment. We slept wonderfully and the jaccuzi was a plus for relaxing to leave again.

The hosts were a couple of very nice retirees. The location incredibly beautiful. The cabin I was in down by the water was quiet and peaceful. Those located in the cabins next to the road might get a different experience. The accommodation was rustic. It is not a modern standard, but instead very cozy and homely. The kitchen was not fully equipped, but the hosts were very accommodating in fixing what I needed.

Randi was an amazing host! She really went out of her way to make us feel super at home in her lovely cabin. The place is gorgeous; a beautiful cabin in a remote, natural location. We had a great time, thank you Randi!

Ola’s cabin was excellent, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The area around the cabin was beautiful and provided the most stunning views to wake up to in the morning. The cabin was well equipped and furnished well. Everything you could need was included. Petrol Station with small shop was located 10 minutes down the road with bigger shops being located around 1 hour away. If visiting, i’d highly recommend the 2 hour drive to Nordkapp, the highest point in Continental Europe. The drive up the E69 has lovely scenery and there is a cafe, gift shop and museum. The drive is more than achievable as long as you have a AWD car. There are busses from Honningsvåg if that is more accessible. Overall, amazing stay. Thank you 🙏🏻

A cosy house in a wonderful and quiet place. We had a great and exotic stay !

We had a wonderful stay. The house is well-located - close enough to town for supplies/activities, but peaceful and near a forest / ski slope. Very clean house, well-equipped kitchen, sauna/hot tub and cozy set-up. Host is very responsive and kind - we arrived late and she arranged some basic groceries for us, and responded quickly to questions. Great spot for family or couple get-away - we'd definitely come back!

An old, wooden cabin between the fjord and mountains, no extra luxuries needed.

We were very warmly welcomed by Hjørdis personally and she showed us everything right away and also wrote during the stay to make sure we felt comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay in the glass igloo and had a great time. Our dog was also welcome and felt comfortable :) It was a heart's desire for me to stay in a glass igloo and with such a great hostess it was even nicer. We felt very welcome. Thanks and maybe we can be your guests again one day <3

Very nice cottage in the middle of nature, but still quite easily accessible. Perfect to serve as base for fishing and hiking.

We felt super comfortable in the cozy cottage. It's just everything is available, nice and quiet and if you want, Roger is quickly accessible. The personal furnishings and the history of the house made it special for us. If you are a good walker, you can take beautiful hikes. You only need a car to explore the wider area. Our highlight was great northern lights over the mountains and the fjord...unforgettable. We highly recommend it.

Charming cabin ideally located on the road to the North Cape. Very quiet, the view from the terrace is splendid. Obviously the accommodation is a little dated but it is in part all its charm. Ingar is adorable and gave great advice.

My mum and me discovered this accommodation by chance, not knowing how to get there or what to expect. We found a wonderful simple place where we felt very comfortable. We took advantage of the sauna every day and were able to see the Northern Lights every evening, even a corona Northern Lights directly above the accommodation. It was amazing to see and of course contributed greatly to the fact that we loved the accommodation. It is simple, but has its charme. We rented a car and I would recommend it to others. Marta and Pawel are lovely hosts and always up for a chat.

Very cosy house in a quiet area next to a river. Rakel was a very nice host and answered very quickly to all our questions.

The modern-style cottage is really very nice, warm, and welcoming. The location is spectacular, within walking distance of the fjord and a pier. It is about an hour and a quarter from Alta but 10 km away there is a very well-stocked food market. We stayed with seven people in April for a week to go ski mountaineering and the location is strategic to reach the most beautiful peaks in a short time. The common areas, dining area, living room are comfortable and very well furnished. The bathroom is very nice although for a large number of people a second bathroom would be helpful. The bedrooms are simpler but cute even if they lack space to store and hang their clothes. Very scenic and convivial the place with the fire pit for the barbecue. Too bad the outdoor hot tub wasn't available during our stay. Annie's support was impeccable, accurate, and kind both before and during our stay.

Trond was very welcoming, he took us to the mountain on a snowmobile! The accommodation is very nice in winter and sufficiently equipped. The view is beautiful and the magical corner for strolling, even in winter with the snowshoes provided by the host. Just a shame for the sauna which is a little small

First of all, Arvi was super friendly and communicative with us, he responded super fast and gave us many suggestions of where to go, times and with photos of the places. And apart he left us with his wife a super detail and a postcard of the place❤️ Secondly, the place was spotless, everything matched the photos and honestly doesn't do it justice to what you're going to see and the landscape in front of you. And last but not least, the location of the cabin is ideal to get away from the people, the hustle and bustle and the city. The place is beautiful, super cozy, very intimate and romantic if you go as a couple, super quiet; we loved that in the room zero light comes in, then you sleep super rich. And you can see the auroras from the window or leave and you have them all above you, it was a magical experience and it couldn't be a better place than there. We are delighted and amazed, will be back some day. Highly recommended, 100/10 🤩

The place made us feel very close to nature. We enjoyed our time in this secluded location. Our winter stay was a very authentic cabin experience.
