Parking: Summer: approx. 70 meters Winter: about 500 meters from the cabin. You have to walk about 500 meters. Good shoes, clothes and headlamp must be brought.

Cabin in the mountains

Great cabin only 20 min away from Alta. Here you have immediate proximity to nature in summer and winter. Ski and hiking trails right outside the door. From the road there is a slight uphill slope you have to walk approximately 800 meters along the tractor road. In winter, skis or snowshoes should be used. The cabin has 4-5 beds in 2 bedrooms. Access to hot water and shower, as well as electricity and heat pump. All equipment such as bed linen/towels are of course included in the price. We can assist with transportation from the airport if desired.

The cabin is located completely by itself 100m from Lakselva, and has its own fishing place by the river which can be rented in addition to the cabin in the period 01jun-15sep contact me for booking. High probability of seeing the northern lights(aurora borealis) in the period from August 15th - April 15th. Easy access with car and a large parking space right by the cottage. Rental car is possible to rent. About 3km to center of Lakselv. About 190km to Northcape. About 70km to Sapmi park.

For international guests, the easiest way to reach the property is by flying to Lakselv or Alta Airport and renting a car. You can park your car conveniently right in front of the entrance, and an EV charger is available for use at the cabin.

The apartment, built in summer 23, is modern with a fully equipped kitchen, a living room featuring a sofa area and TV, a cozy bathroom with a shower, a hallway, and a bedroom with a custom-built 150 cm bed. All rooms offer views of Hammerfest harbor area, Melkøya, and Håja. It's located on a side street, just a 5-minute walk from the city center. Unfortunately we don't have parking outside our house because the street is so narrow.

The place is close to the airport, city center, river, salmon fishing, nature park. You will have an entire apartment all to yourself. The nature around is absolutely unique! The place is good for couples, business trips, families with children, big groups, and furry friends.
