The cottage on the island

At the far end of the Västerhavet is the island of Tjörnekalv. You can easily get there by bus and/or train from Gothenburg. By car, you park in Rönnäng and take the ferry to the island. Around the island there is the possibility of saltwater swimming, climbing mountains, catching crabs, experiencing species-rich nature. There are no stores on the island so you need to bring the supplies you need. You can order groceries from Dyröboden. They arrive by ferry the following day. Guest house outside Gothenburg

Our guest house is located in the countryside and is incredibly peaceful and quiet with meadows and forests all around. Although we live in the countryside, it is only 15 minutes by car to Gothenburg and 5 minutes to Kungälv and Kongahälla Center. The guest house is 25 m2. There are two single beds and a sleeping loft with two beds. There is a toilet and shower. Kitchen with stove, fridge, freezer, coffee maker and tea maker. There is a private patio with chairs and tables. Dogs are most welcome. Cleaning is not included.

Welcome to an extraordinary place to stay. We have just finished building our fantastic guest house on the beautiful island of Tjörn in Bohuslän. The house is located 500 meters from the sea with a steep hill down to a swimming area with beach and rocks. It is close to Rönnäng and the ferry to Åstol and Dyrön. On Klädesholmen, there is the cozy restaurant Salt och Sill. It is 15 minutes by car to Skärhamn and, among other things, the Nordic Watercolor Museum. Plenty of hiking trails and other activities.

Here you also find a small beach and rocks to bath from. Ryskärjsfjorden is famous for its kayaking and also on the winter for its ice skating (when it gets cold). Its 30 km till Gothenburg and 24 km to Marstrand (9 km with boat) (beautiful summer island). Newly refurbished small guesthouse with room for up to four people.

Welcome to this quiet, elegant home in Tjuvkil. Marstrand can be reached by car in 10 minutes and Gullbringa Golf Club in 5. If you want to take the bus, the stop is only a few minutes' walk away. The same thing if you want to go down to the beach and the jetties for a swim. Our small cottage is equipped with two 90 cm beds, a small table with two chairs and a kitchen area with a refrigerator, kettle and microwave. Toilet with shower and sink. There is also a patio with table and chairs.

Welcome to Tjuvkil and to our newly built guest house! The area is quiet and nice, perfect for rest and recovery. Via a short 5-minute walk, you can reach the sea and the beach for lovely salty baths. We are close to cozy Marstrand, which offers a historic environment in the archipelago and has a lovely variety of restaurants. It takes 10 minutes to drive there, you can also choose to take the bus and then it takes about 25 minutes including a short walk to the bus.
