The cottage on the island

At the far end of the Västerhavet is the island of Tjörnekalv. You can easily get there by bus and/or train from Gothenburg. By car, you park in Rönnäng and take the ferry to the island. Around the island there is the possibility of saltwater swimming, climbing mountains, catching crabs, experiencing species-rich nature. There are no stores on the island so you need to bring the supplies you need. You can order groceries from Dyröboden. They arrive by ferry the following day. Our guest house is located in the countryside and is incredibly peaceful and quiet with meadows and forests all around. Although we live in the countryside, it is only 15 minutes by car to Gothenburg and 5 minutes to Kungälv and Kongahälla Center. The guest house is 25 m2. There are two single beds and a sleeping loft with two beds. There is a toilet and shower. Kitchen with stove, fridge, freezer, coffee maker and tea maker. There is a private patio with chairs and tables. Dogs are most welcome. Cleaning is not included.

Welcome to an extraordinary place to stay. We have just finished building our fantastic guest house on the beautiful island of Tjörn in Bohuslän. The house is located 500 meters from the sea with a steep hill down to a swimming area with beach and rocks. It is close to Rönnäng and the ferry to Åstol and Dyrön.
