The cottage on the island

At the far end of the Västerhavet is the island of Tjörnekalv. You can easily get there by bus and/or train from Gothenburg. By car, you park in Rönnäng and take the ferry to the island. Around the island there is the possibility of saltwater swimming, climbing mountains, catching crabs, experiencing species-rich nature. There are no stores on the island so you need to bring the supplies you need. You can order groceries from Dyröboden. They arrive by ferry the following day. House by the sea

Welcome to an extraordinary place to stay. We have just finished building our fantastic guest house on the beautiful island of Tjörn in Bohuslän. The house is located 500 meters from the sea with a steep hill down to a swimming area with beach and rocks. It is close to Rönnäng and the ferry to Åstol and Dyrön. On Klädesholmen, there is the cozy restaurant Salt och Sill. It is 15 minutes by car to Skärhamn and, among other things, the Nordic Watercolor Museum. Plenty of hiking trails and other activities.

Welcome to this quiet, elegant home in Tjuvkil. Marstrand can be reached by car in 10 minutes and Gullbringa Golf Club in 5. If you want to take the bus, the stop is only a few minutes' walk away. The same thing if you want to go down to the beach and the jetties for a swim. Our small cottage is equipped with two 90 cm beds, a small table with two chairs and a kitchen area with a refrigerator, kettle and microwave. Toilet with shower and sink.
