Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Kumejima, Shimajiri District

This was a very good stay for my family who came to visit us from Los Angeles. The location was great just a block away from the Sunabe seawall. Tons f great restaurants close by. Morning Bowls was my favorite with Poke and Açaí bowls. Tropical Kitchen right next door to it was good too as they had Hawaiian food. The house was very clean and had everything we needed as far as amenities. I honestly couldn’t e more happy with this place. It’s also right down the street from American Village which has tons of shops and restaurants as well. Even though the house is so close to everything it’s still very quiet in the neighborhood. I definitely recommend this place and if my family comes again we will try to rebook.

Kazuki’s place was very spacious and very relaxing. It is in a residential neighborhood but convenient to walk to a supermarket and various restaurants.

Highly recommend Takashi’s house for families. It’s more spacious than pictures. Cozy and comfortable, quiet and relaxing, clean and tidy. Definitely worth money!!

Amazing place, definitely worth it

Beautiful, private country home with an enclosed yard. my 4 year old loved running circles around the house and walking down to the water. Instructions to get into the property (that had parking space) were very easy to follow as well as access to the key. Instructions were step by step to get through with pictures. The host was very responsive although I only messaged to let them know I got there and when I left. I would definitely stay again. Also, the bathtub is amazing.

Sitting on the deck for a morning cuppa with such a view was amazing…! Shiro and Kirsten are the perfect hosts: warm, friendly and welcoming yet very respectful of the guests space and time. I’m definitely coming back again!

Great place to stay! It’s on the third floor, so if you have heavy luggage, you’ll need to be strong to carry it up. The two beds are queen-sized—perfect for a couple, but a bit small for two men. Other than that, everything is great!

Perfectly located close to the market where you can select fresh seafood and fish and have them grilled in the restaurant upstairs. We also enjoyed the parking at the bottom of the building (however please note it is excluded from the advert). There are also 2 nice shops in the street (leather artisan and nice shop selling dresses and bags with island style fabric). And it is very quiet!

She was so kind and flexible, despite our flights being constantly bumped back for many hours. She was kind and gave us a car to use. She also took us to get medicine for our friend when he got sick. Above and beyond host who would treat any further guests with the same level of care!

We enjoyed our stay at Masumi's place. It is at the perfect location for exploring Naha and southern Okinawa: minutes from the monorail, minutes from a big shopping mall with an excellent supermarket, walking distance from Tomari Harbour. The loft adds a lot of space and is very cozy. The apartment is on the top floor of the 7-story building and quiet and offers everything one needs.

Great stay!It is convenient to communicate between check-in and check-out time in the middle. The host is also very beautiful and patient with us (the three-legged cat in Japanese), the emotional value is full, and I deliberately picked Fuso Flower, which is probably the biggest one I came to see in Okinawa!The room smells of pure Japanese style, I once felt like I was in "New Life of the Wind", it is also very clean and spacious, very close to international access, just a few steps away. The apartment is located in a perfect area for exploring Naha. The apartment is very comfortable and has everything you want, plus the internet is very fast as for people like me who have to work. The host was very sweet as the apartment was ready well before the official check in time.

The room is clean and tidy. The small balcony is very cozy and like your own.The location is next to a port, very quiet, just a little far from the city.Check-in was smooth, the house is fully equipped, there is a coin laundry downstairs, which is very convenient, and generally highly recommended.

We have stayed in several Airbnbs in the area and this is one of the best! Rooms were all spacious and plenty of counter and bathroom space for our group of 5. Two toilets and two showers worked very well for our larger group. Nicely appointed living area and very bright kitchen. We had a very comfortable 5 night stay here!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Public Inn. The host was responsive and friendly. It is a good location in Chatan so central to most attractions on the island (with a car). The place was very clean and had every amenity needed for a relaxing stay. Two bedrooms provided enough space for our family of four and it was spacious and very comfortable. Noise was not an issue for us and there were plenty of restaurants and cafes within walking distance.

The location is perfect, so close to all the activities that we wanted to do. Beautiful views from the 3 levels and the pool was so beautiful. The communication and instructions were very clear with check in/check out. A fantastic booklet on arrival that had heaps of recommendations of local places to eat & drink. The space was so clean and had all amenities that we needed provided.

I had a comfortable stay with my friends. I highly recommend it to those who rent a car. The parking lot is quite spacious, so it's convenient to park, and it's close to American Village, so it's easy to go. But a motorbike on the street late at night? It was a little noisy, so it was a little disappointing.
