Vacation rentals with a kayak in Kumejima, Shimajiri District

We stayed on a rainy day! The rainy garden was beautiful and charming! The room was spacious and pleasant, and I was able to sleep well! However, there are no restaurants and convenience stores nearby, so it would be nice if you could eat in advance or buy snacks when you enter the accommodation:)

Island 76 managed by Takuya and Yoko is a dream place for rest and rejuvenation. Living above them but having a separate entrance/spaces allowed for us to be close and yet afforded our own privacy. Home is cosy, well equipped with good wifi and parking slot in front of the house. They were responsive and provided a good list with links on recommendations/suggestions for the vicinity. They were quick in replying and provided extra duvet for when the weather turned cold without us requesting for it. They had 3 children, a dog and two cats, all lovely and charming but did not enter to our premises. Hamagiha is beautiful and serene and January being a low season but with the winter being rather mild as compared to the mainland, allowed for us to explore this spiritual island, and the surrounding islands of Uruma, without encountering too many tourists. There is a cute mom and pop house near the apartment selling local okinawan snacks and food and we enjoyed it as much as the locals do.

We have a great time here. The location is close to the beach and near the tourist spot such as aquarium and bise tree road. Room is very spacious with a beautiful view. Hosts are friendly and well communicate.

My boyfriend and I loved our stay here! We were in Tokyo and Osaka for a few days and this little oasis and peaceful retreat was exactly what we needed. We didn’t plan our transportation very well, so definitely get a car so you can drive to places. We were able to walk to a few spots and even to our Blue Cave tour so that was no problem! All our worries melted away here. Eddie even offered to drive us somewhere if we needed so the host ratings are top notch! Thank you Eddie and we can’t wait to come back one day!

The location and the room were so great. it’s so special to have the beautiful private beach right at front of the house. Therefore the garbage on the beach… was given us feel very sad in contrast. it’s a good authentic Okinawa experience to have a chill days on the island being away from crowds. We enjoy the small community and the corner store near by. We will definitely visit again and give a help cleaning the beach next time;) The host was very responsive and let us use their SUP boards. The weather didn’t allow us to enjoy it but thank you very much for the preparation.

The place perfect! Felt like I was in my own world and loved being able to relax and enjoy the garden. Walkable to an amazing cafe. Check-in/check-out was super easy and the host was super proactive reaching out and was very sweet to check on me to ensure everything was good!

The location, amenities, and host Kazu, everything was great.It is a facility full of ideas, and you can use everything in the facility, so you can play a lot of things, have a full kitchen relationship, and you can cook together.The weather was not very good, but on the contrary, I think it was good, and if the weather was good, I was busy sightseeing, but I enjoyed relaxing, playing, eating, and enjoying this time at home.Three generations of my parents and children stayed with a total of nine people, and everyone enjoyed it, and it was really fun.There was too much to do, so I didn't have enough to play. The host, Kazu, was also a lovely person full of hospitality.The story was also interesting. The location was not surrounded by anything and the view was dynamic and the rain was excellent.I would like to stay again! We had a wonderful time.Thank you very much.

We had a great time at Shuns place. we just stayed two nights there but would definitely stay longer.

We had an amazing stay! The place was exactly like the pictures—big, beautiful, and very clean. It was fully equipped with everything we needed, making it feel like a home away from home. The setting was incredible, surrounded by lush greenery that made us feel like we were in the middle of a jungle. It was quiet, peaceful, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. Ash was a great host—responsive, friendly, and always helpful with any questions we had. We absolutely loved the place and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect and comfortable stay!
