Places to stay in Ishigaki

The living room, each room was spacious, and it was a great place to stay for a large group.We will use it again.

There is also a Don Quijote nearby, which is particularly convenient. The interior is also perfect.

We felt very lucky to have ended up at this lovely property in Kabira Bay. Excellent communication from our host, the property was in excellent condition and fully equipped. We particularly liked the complimentary drinks left in the fridge. The property was very spacious. Walkable to some great places to eat, a lovely bakery, and within easy reach of beaches such as the beautiful Tabaga Beach. We didn’t have a car but it didn’t matter, there’s a bus stop outside with connections into Ishigaki town. We would love to have stayed longer and hope to be back!

We had a great one week holiday at this cozy place. We’ve been picked up on arrival, hired car, using the house, everything’s nice and smooth with Yuri and his team supports. At the house, very quiet, family friendly, lovely nature sounds, stars, no party vibes! We’ve been recommended to get the foods and drinks before getting the house and it was a good advice. Also we’ve enjoyed driving around the island and getting the town. Usagiya restaurant was great! Everything was perfect for us. Thanks so much!

The location was centrally located, and it was very convenient to walk and go shopping for convenience stores, spurs, and souvenirs. It was also really helpful to have a gas dryer installed. The room is new, spacious, beautiful, and satisfactory. I'd love to stay again if I get the chance.

Great experience, the apartment is more beautiful than in the photos! Large, clean and tidy. The host was very kind and communicative, and also booked a taxi for me. Great restaurants nearby (you have to try "Batida"), also a few steps away there is a place where you can rent a car and get around the island. I recommend it to all visitors to Ishigaki!

I rented this house with my family and it couldn’t have been more perfect! The location is amazing - the beach is right there and pretty much no one else around. We loved kayaking up the beach and into the mangroves. It was also very well supplied - with drinks in the fridge and charcoal for the BBQ. Arantiya was the perfect host - super responsive and helpful. Thank you so much.

What a great place! Ichiro and Yukko's house is excellent - thoughtfully designed, comfortable, pristine, with all the amenities you might need. The bathroom is great, beds are comfortable, and wifi is good. They responded quickly to my questions and very thoughtfully came round with a cooler so we could picnic at the beach. The neighbourhood is very peaceful. It has nice views and a beautiful "semi-private" beach down a jungle path. I recommend doing a night walk to the beach (with appropriate footwear and clothes) so you can see coconut crabs, and amazing jungle insects, frogs, lizards, and birds. There is a new beer garden just one block of houses away with an infinity pool and great food, which I highly recommend. Ichiro and Yukko's recommendations were also great, we enjoyed the Tonkatsu restaurant and Tommy's bakery.
