Happy Land is a fantastic place to stay. The property is new and fresh and in an incredible location. As an alternative to Munnar, this is a quiet and peaceful haven to relax or explore. There is so much to do and see, whether that be hiking, visiting waterfalls, birdwatching, seeing wild animals or just taking in the scenery. Shabab is a very proactive and supportive host who was constantly available; nothing was too difficult. He even took us in his car to the local shops to get provisions whenever we needed anything! He also was very hospitable and even got us treats from his own bakery during our stay. He had arranged for a car and a fantastic guide, Mani, to take us around the local area to view waterfalls, animals, etc. He took us north into Tamil Nadu and guided us with local knowledge. Definitely worth staying here if you have the opportunity. Don't be afraid to let Shabab and Mani make arrangements for you to see the sights, you won't be disappointed!

Eldho’s villa was was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location was peaceful, and Eldho was a friendly and helpful host. Would definitely recommend!

This rustic beauty is a hidden gem nestled in the wilderness, offering incredible views of the mountains and free bird concerts at dusk and at dawn. If you want a relaxing and peaceful getaway with your loved ones this place is an excellent option. And, you won’t need to worry about food and safety, as Mehdi and the caretakers will always be there to help you. Of course, we were told that we could be left completely to ourselves if we wished that, so you have that option as well. This plan also has the advantage of a private viewpoint from a steep precipice, which may be rare, especially for a place that’s affordable. Access to this place itself is a bit of adventure, as it involves 2 kms of off-roading. Although, access to the areas within the premises are steep, so older people have to watch out. Also, the tap water is a bit muddy if you care about it. Overall though we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and it’s pity that we couldn’t plan to stay longer. Kudos to Mehdi and his team!

nice place. good swimming pool . the caretaker and his team made sure they cleaned the swimming pool and only then they allowed us to use the pool. food was awesome. the owner was good in assisting us with local attractions. on the whole a good owner with a perfect team to assist him . Great hospitality. Will definitely come back .

The stay at Swastham was great and unforgettable experience. Mr. Joy was so helpful and very friendly. The bungalow has a massive plantation where Mr. Joy took us for visit, it was so pleasant and informative. He described about the plants and cultivation process, my kids and wife enjoyed very well. Had homemade foods daily which is so tasteful. One day Mrs. Joy cooked traditional Kerala style breakfast and it was truly tasty. Every morning we wake up by hearing beautiful sounds of the birds and hot coffee and sit out is unbelievable. There are two caretakers and they were very friendly and we felt like staying in our home. I highly recommend this place. Truly truly amazing. We had such a great stay with friends at this beautiful place! The place was super clean, peaceful, and surrounded by so much greenery, it really felt like a little escape into nature. Perfect spot to relax and unwind. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, which made everything even better. Even though we didn’t speak the same language, they went out of their way to help us when we lost a wallet. we were blown away for their support. Truly grateful for their help. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a peaceful stay with amazing people.

We loved our stay in this place because of the amenities provided and the host was so friendly and interactive. The place was so clean and private. It is a best place to visit if we travel to Kottayam.
