Vacation rentals in Köthen (Anhalt)

We had a great time in Sandy's camper. All as described and in great condition! Sandy described and communicated everything superbly in advance and answered questions. We then got a detailed introduction on site, so we quickly felt comfortable despite little camper experience. Despite the icy temperatures at night no problem, as the heating worked great and we were well prepared with hot water bottles and warm blankets for the upper deck in advance. We will be happy to come back! This was a pleasant experience and the WE flew by!

We stayed in this accommodation for the second time and felt comfortable right away. The spacious bedroom with old-building charm has built-in closets and a bookshelf to browse. In the kitchen, there is nothing missing for cooking and eating comfortably. We will always be happy to spend our trips to the Harz Mountains there. Great hosts, great location.

We had a very nice stay at this historic house. We had wanted to spend a weekend here for a long time, and it was a special experience to stay in such an old building. The house is comfortably furnished, and especially the fireplace was our highlight – its warmth and the crackling of the fire made the evenings special. The hosts were very friendly and gave us valuable tips for excursions in the area. Great place for history lovers – highly recommended!

Our Christmas this year had a special charm in Döben. We enjoyed our stay in the beautiful, lovingly renovated historic house and felt right at home. It was wonderfully heated with the very nice fireplace and it was chubby warm, also in the upper rooms. Nice that there is still such a thing if a house keeps its old charm and is not broken. We can only recommend the place! ...and maybe come back sometime.

We loved the place. It is located at the beginning of a small settlement in a small, quiet forest. There you can go for a walk with the dog and also get to Hohenwarthe and the Elbe quite easily. The vacation home was as described, we especially liked the hot tub and sauna, we were able to relax and felt comfortable 😊

We had a wonderful stay! Our travel plans changed last minute, and the hosts were incredibly accommodating, quickly updating the lock combination for us without any hassle. When we initially had trouble getting the heat to work, they responded immediately and even brought portable heaters—though in the end, we didn’t need them. The apartment is stocked with so many useful items—coffee filters, detergent, plenty of bathroom essentials, and even a straightening iron. But the absolute highlight was the beautiful decor. You can tell that the place was furnished with real love and attention to detail, perfectly capturing the style of the time period. From the plate clock above the kitchen door to the heavy wool blanket in the sitting room, every little touch felt intentional. The lamps, chests, dishes—simply amazing! A truly special place. We’d absolutely stay here again!

Very friendly and nice hostess. The cottage is very clean and cozy and tastefully decorated.

Lovely flat very well situated for the city centre. Tram only 150 meters away. You are in the city centre in about 20 minutes. Despite being so close to the main road, the flat was very peaceful and quiet. Supermarket and take away/restaurants nearby. The supermarket is open until 22:00hrs and is well stocked. The flat was very clean. We traveled from the UK by car and parking is available outside. It has a lovely balcony which would be lovely in the summer. We would definitely stay again.
