Accommodation was just great. Everything as described by the host Susanne. Yes, the stairs are steep to get in to the accommodation but this had been explained in the accommodation listing so nothing we weren’t expecting. To be honest, no different to any attic style stairs so don’t be put off. Kitchen well equipped - though we only made ourselves breakfast during our stay. Too busy out exploring the area all day. 😊 We visited in February when it can be quite cold outside but the accommodation was always a warm, inviting space when we returned from our hectic days out sightseeing. Supermarket close by for anything you need. Perfect location being 5 minute walk from the train station for visiting Bern & surrounding area. We enjoyed our extended stay in Rachel's place- lovely area and lovely roof terrace. Rachel was very responsive to questions. Overall we would rate it highly and recommend.

An idyllic location near Bern surrounded by nature. Great for relaxation and sporting activities, and a starting base for visiting and exploring the Canton of Bern.
