The apartment on the top floor is truly unique. It is located on the second floor and and the entire place has been restored to original building. The original roof wooden frame, exposed brickwork, original flooring, fully functional wooden stove helps you to imagine what people lived like at the beginning of last century. The main living area is facing the front of the house and therefor you will find a view on the town square, town house and the famous basalt rock “Jehla”.

Welcome to Pfaffendorf, in the middle of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains and close to the Saxon Switzerland and Bohemian Switzerland National Park. The 7th stage of the Malerweg leads directly past the house. The cozy and spacious apartment (55 sqm) is located on the ground floor in a listed, lovingly renovated, former family house built 1900 in the OT Pfaffendorf. This includes a car parking space, a separate guest terrace in the courtyard and protected high-speed Wi-Fi.

Our house is a 270-year-old timber-framed house that we have lovingly renovated and remodeled. As far as possible, we have preserved or restored the old wooden floorboards or wooden framework. Our garden is designed in such a way that living beings that are native there can still feel comfortable, such as salamanders, hedgehogs, fireflies, kingfishers and wild bees. Anyone who stays in the garden for a long time can observe these many rare inhabitants in our garden.
