Great place, perfect for a grouo

Wow, where do I even start? Staying at The Nest at Hurunui Jacks on the Wilderness Trail was absolutely magical. From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by stunning native bush, peaceful serenity, and the most breathtaking scenery – including vibrant blue mushrooms popping up along the trails! The accommodation itself was incredible — beautifully crafted and so thoughtfully designed and private. The large window perfectly framed the pond, creating the most serene backdrop for our stay. Every little detail made it feel special, but it was the hospitality that truly blew us away. We were welcomed with marshmallows to roast by the fire, fresh brewed coffee, and the smell of home-baked bread each morning, along with fresh eggs, creamy yogurt, granola, fruit and fresh juice. kayaks for the lake, eels to feed, looks of native birds, and at night, the sky was a blanket of stars. It was peaceful and tranquil. Thanks Wendy, we will be back to stay in the The Tent.

The greenery is the most stunning space, when I say dream home, I mean it - it's perfect.. just the right size, private, quiet, stunning surrounds. Wonderfully equipped with a full kitchen, laundry and massive walk-in wardrobe (seriously great for long stays) seriously, stay here.

Really lovely place to stay. We enjoyed how tranquil it was out in the country, and we even got a clear night to see the amazing stars! We didn't use the fireplace as there wasn't a fire guard and we had our one year old with us who likes to run head first into everything, but the beds were super warm and thankfully it didn't get too cold during our stay. Definitely planning on coming back again soon :)
