Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Kitty Hawk

Beautiful home with well maintained pool n hot tub. Had a great time with volleyball and cycling. Close to reach lot of places near outer banks. Only thing i would suggest is replacing the grill. Board games and game room is like a cherry on top. My family is very satisfied and wants to return every summer.

Brian’s place was absolutely fantastic! The walk to the beach was quick and easy, and there were plenty of little shops and fun things to do just a short stroll away. While you do have to cross a highway, it’s nothing to worry about as it has a safe, convenient walkway that made it no problem at all, even with our kids. We stayed with four children ranging from 1 to 11 years old and had zero issues. In fact, the kids kept asking if we really had to leave and begged to stay longer which is always a good sign! The house itself was cozy and comfortable, and the deck was a great spot to relax. The huge backyard was a total hit with the kids. It’s private and gave us peace of mind to let them play with toys outside while we grilled or hung out inside. Brian was incredibly responsive and kind, and he even shared some great local, kid-friendly recommendations, which meant a lot since it was our first time visiting the OBX. We really enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect for our group and was clean, well decorated, and ideally located. It was about a 15-20 min walk from the beach depending on which route you took and how much traffic there was crossing the main road, but this was perfect because you’re set back from the beach noise. You’re also a quick walk from the sound where you can watch the sunset. We had a really great weekend and looking forward to staying again!

This was our second year at Serene Retreat. It’s just such a wonderful place for young children to enjoy the beach. The fenced in yard is great for their outdoor play. We enjoy cooking in the fabulous kitchen and feasting at the table with a view. Better than any restaurant around! Thank you again.

Our stay was great! The space was perfect for myself, my partner and our pup! The place was very clean and super homey and comfortable. We would stay here again! Easy access to everything. Including a short/ easy walk to the beach. Highly recommend! And our host Gia was amazing! Very responsive and super friendly! :) thank you for having us Gia!

From the time we booked the place it was stellar communication! Shane was responsive to our questions and extremely accomodating throughout the experience. Ideal location for us and when not out and about we loved relaxing out on both the front and back porch and evening in the back yard with the fire pit. Close to attractions /shopping/dining/ AND steps from the beach! We had plenty of adults to one busy toddler but with this a note there are two sets of stairs to block to keep little eyes off of this evidently 'key attraction' vs the toys we had with us! Highly recommend.

This place is a GEM! I highly recommend staying there. So close to the beach. Lots of fun stuff to do in Duck. The house is very, very nice with lots of space to hang out.

This place was very peaceful and comfortable. We had our big fur baby with us, she was greeted and treated with kindness. The upstairs neighbor was very kind, she even made us homeade banana nut bread one of our days there. She spoke to us if we were both out at the same time and even complimented our tans lol. I would suggest this stay for any hospitable guests :) There's tons of places to eat around, you can walk to the sound or the beach, there's plenty to do close by as well... the mini golf was lots of fun. We will deff look into staying again the next time we're coast way. Thanks for having a clean, tidy, peaceful place to chill after a hot sunny day on the beach 😁, and thanks again for the AMAZING banana nut bread!!!

We had such a great visit staying with Kristy! It was like staying with a family friend- she was so flexible with our late check-in, she was welcoming and accommodating. She had great recommendations for places to check out and even offered us beach extras like umbrellas, blankets, surfboards, and more. She made us feel right at home from the minute we arrived! The place is exactly as described. Even though it’s attached to her home, the apartment is completely separate with its own entrance. You get a full size fridge, basic kitchen amenities, a comfy bed and even an extra trundle bed which is new! It was less than a 3 min drive to the beach which was so convenient, and surrounded by fun shops, restaurants, coffee shops, and grocery stores. We would definitely return!

Such a charming and clean place to stay! We will definitely be back! The hot tub is squeaky clean, just like the rest of the house. Walking distance to everything, yet parking availability for when you don’t want to walk. I think we just found our new place to vacation. We genuinely couldn’t be happier.

My partner and I spent a peaceful week in this cozy spot. Very clean and well equipped for cooking and relaxing :) We especially enjoyed hanging out on the dock by the water and eating meals in the screened-in outdoor space. The surrounding neighborhood was very friendly as well. Rob was an excellent host and addressed any and all inquiries in a timely manner. Would definitely stay here again if you're looking for a quiet getaway from the hustle and bustle of the more "quintessential" obx beach towns. Not a bad drive to Duck / Kitty Hawk either.

House was pristine! Excellent set up for the space. Plenty of room for our party of four. Had all the things you would need for vacation. Hot tub was fabulous close to all the things you could possibly want to do. The kids really appreciated the bikes. This is a split unit, but it feels very private. We would absolutely stay here again. Thank you!!

Longacres lived up to the online description. It is a wonderful rustic cabin in the woods. It was the perfect setting for our photography trip to Alligator River NWR but also just a short distance from the Outer Banks. The cabin was a very comfortable place to unwind and review our images after a day out touring the reserve. I particularly liked the porch bedroom - a great "outdoor" experience. Anne was great host and I hope to return sometime in the near future.

If you’re looking to get away and unplug and just listen to the sound of the water and relax, this is the perfect place. it’s very remote. The view on the dock and the deck is amazing and surreal. A perfect place for a getaway to recharge. Only suggestion is to do your shopping for the house before you go to the property as it is a little distance from everything. But overall, an amazing place would definitely book again.

We loved this beautiful home! Beautifully decorated-calm vibe. So cozy and comfortable. I’m also an Airbnb host and I can tell you this space is wonderful! Well worth the price point! Don’t miss out on the fire pit. Something about a fire with your family by the water…it’s truly magical. I highly recommend this place. You won’t be disappointed. Kathy is kind and accommodating. Super responsive and easy to communicate with. Can’t say enough. 10/10.

Taylor’s place is right in the middle of Kill Devil hills surrounded by many grocery, souvenir stores and restaurants. Major beaches and tour spots are also very close. House is spacious and clean. However, I want to address how professional, approachable, and helpful the host Taylor is. Whenever you need help he will respond as soon as possible (usually within max. 10 minutes in my case) and actively try to solve any issues and help you for your stay to be satisfied. I really enjoyed staying at this property and highly recommend this property!

Andrew was a super friendly and accommodating host! The house is very spacious and peaceful! We came to stay just to relax in nature for a couple days and it was perfect for our needs!
