Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Kirkwood

This is the second time we are staying at their place..so that tells it all. We really like the location and the house. I only wish there was more snow in the region when we went couple of weeks back. We are looking back for going back in next time.

Michael was extremely helpful, responsive and kind. My family had a great stay.

Anabell’s house is located in a cute, safe neighborhood. There was plenty of parking for our group. The house was clean, kid friendly, and had all the kitchen amenities. Wash and dryer work great and the beds are comfortable.

Had a great stay at Kathleen's Airbnb. Close to everything you would need. Clean and well furnished.

From the minute we walked in felt at home. Beautifully decorated without any clutter. All you could ask for was there and a bottle of wine to boot. We never turned on the TV and played scrabble and put together a puzzle with our friends. A great getaway.

My group really enjoyed our stay! The hosts were very responsive to any questions I had.

BEST location and a fabulous property. We parked our car for the entire stay. Walked minutes to restaurants, coffee, shops, to the suspension bridge and hiking trails. The outdoor patio is lovely, the beds comfortable and the home plenty roomy. Sam and Andrejka were super responsive and great hosts. It was the perfect place for our visit to Nevada City!

This rental is so lovely and inviting! It is spacious, the beds are super comfy, and the home is immaculate. We immediately relaxed into rocking chairs on the front porch, and enjoyed being in such close walking distance of Main St. There are so many fine touches throughout, it seems the hosts have thought of just about everything, including a very thorough and helpful guest binder. I look forward to a return visit, and highly recommend this charmer!

We went to Robert’s place a couple of years ago and it felt the same as last time: it was great! Clean and has everything we need. The place is close to everything: restaurants, grocery, main roads

One of the best Airbnb places I've stayed. Doris was very responsive to anything I needed and she and her husband were both very friendly and helpful. This property sets next to a field with horses and beautiful woodlands and green meadows. Very quiet & private, but very close to major urban areas with entertainment and restaurants. I went to this little oasis for a personal yoga and meditation retreat I put together. It was perfect. The generosity of the hosts in stocking the refrigerator and kitchen with special food & drink items was above and beyond. I felt pampered. I will return for sure.

This Airbnb has a great location in South Lake Tahoe. 5 min driving to Heavenly Ski Resort, 1 min driving to Whole Foods, 1 min driving to laundry, 5 min driving to Heavenly Village. Nice 15 min walk to the Marina. It had everything we needed and great backyard. April was nice, helpful and flexible. We had a great stay! 🍀✨

Peggy was a wonderful host. Great location, short walk to downtown and near to hiking trails. Fantastic private back yard to relax in. Very comfortable and clean unit and we appreciated the extra attention to detail and care that Peggy put into her place. We would highly recommend staying here and hope to be back again. Had a great stay! Perfect location for skiing and access to town. Loved the stocked and very organized kitchen. Would absolutely stay here again in the future!

It was a very nice quiet place. Didn't hear the train. It was close to Sugar Bowl Ski Resort where my Son and Family skis. Also it was just down the road from my Son's ski rental house. We didn't spend much time in the rental. We were gone every day and usually got back after dark. We enjoyed our time there. Thank You Very Much.

Very new, very comfortable, close to everything you need, beautiful neighborhood. As mentioned in other reviews it is a little loud at times but if you just shut the window it blocks out all of the outside noise. The town has a noise ordinance at night but they need one in the morning ! Kitchen has everything we needed to cook breakfast and have coffee and tea. John is a great host and made it very easy for use to enjoy the beauty and rich history of Nevada city. Cheers !

Carol’s spot is lovely- clean and centrally located but quiet and peaceful. She was incredibly friendly and responsive. The space was clean and welcoming. The only downside is there isn’t a kitchen or kitchenette but it’s so close to town and fun to experience the local eateries. I would highly recommend her place for anyone looking for a spot close to Nevada City. The bed was comfy also with comfortable sheets:) thank you Carol!!!

Very clean and all the supplies etc needed to have an enjoyable and relaxing stay. Bathrooms, Beds and bedrooms were excellent. Would stay here again.

Great spot for quick incline village stays! Would definitely stay again.

Jared's condo is close to village and very close to the shuttle. Very convenient! All windows have a beautiful view of the woods. Nice open floor plan with cozy fireplace. As for Jared, we asked if he had a meatloaf pan...and he got us one! Totally unexpected and appreciated. Would definitely go again.

Fantastic stay at Monte’s place! Strong heat in the winter, clubhouse with great community staff - hot tub, ping pong, and pool in the summer. Washer/dryer and full kitchen with essentials was great. TV with a boomin’ Sonos speaker too! The electric cooktop was uneven on some burners which caused some delays with cooking. We moved this neighborhood which was so close to Stateline. We easily found Ubers back and forth when we needed them.

The stay was amazing with the family. The room had all the amenties, The balcony had a great view of the mountains. It was quiet. All the restaurants and other activities were very close. The room had board games, puzzles and jenga for the kids. Beach items where in the storage shed. The host had heated blankets so we didn't feel cold at night. Check in and check out was very smooth and the Delores had pretty detailed instruction. Would definitely stay here for the convenience of the location and it was just a home at a different place.

Matt and Katie’s place is the perfect Palisades ski weekend stay! The place: -Amazing location in the center of the village, nice building and amenities (fully stocked kitchen, two huge community hot tubes, beautiful views from the deck), and lots of space to unwind. The only minor downside is it can be a little noisy on Friday night with a karaoke bar two floors below but this disbanded by 11pm. The hosts: Extremely responsive and helpful, with great recommendations and clear instructions. Overall, 10/10 planning to stay again!

Wonderful place for a peaceful escape from daily life. The neighborhood is quiet yet conveniently located, and the well-stocked kitchen was a big plus. Mihai was incredibly friendly and helpful—always quick to respond. I’d definitely recommend staying here!

June’s place was awesome. Every little detail was carefully addressed. The pictures used in instructions for various utilities were very helpful. Fireplace was so nice after a day on the slopes. Nice to have a single level ground floor unit.
