You'll enjoy a quiet and peaceful setting among tall pines, with wildlife abound. Amador County is rich in gold mining history, and has many charming gold rush towns for you to visit. If you're visiting both Yosemite and Lake Tahoe on your travel journeys, we are conveniently located between the two ( 2 hours from Yosemite, and 1 and 1/2 from Tahoe)

The very best location at Kirkwood: across the street from chairs 5/6 but removed enough you don't hear equipment working at night (unlike the slopeside buildings). Faces a quiet courtyard away from the street. 2 large bedrooms with super comfy king beds, and one bunk bed. Sleeps 5-6 without anyone on a couch. Full kitchen w/dishwasher. Wood fireplace. We had comfort in mind with this upgraded 1 bedroom Kirkwood meadows condo. King bed, queen and full pull out couches make this space accommodating for larger parties. Located on the first floor of the building, which offers garage parking and quick easy access to the ski lifts. In the summer months enjoy hiking/biking right from the property, or epic skiing in the winter. Access the kirkwood meadow from the main lobbies back door and enjoy cross country skiing or evening summer walks.
