There is no electricity or running water in the cottage. Heating is done with a stove. The property is only rented to those who have experience in wilderness cottages and know how to work with firesticks.

The cottage has views down to Munkelv which is a salmon driving river and there are fantastic hunting conditions for grouse in the area. If you go a little up the mountains behind, you will find countless fishing waters with both char and trout. In other words, good opportunities for both quiet and active holidays as needed.

Great hiking terrain with connection to ski slopes, opportunities for hunting, fishing and berry picking right outside the door. Feel free to reach out with any questions.

About 20km to the shops of Finland From the center of Kirkenes it is about 50 km to the cabin in Neiden. Beautiful to all seasons🌸

Jeanette’s place was really peaceful and the location was so beautiful. It was mach more than we expected. The cottage felt like home. Everything was really simple. People who expect water closet would rather find some other place, but we were ok with this basic and natural facility. Sauna floor is also a bit tricky, because you have to dry it after sauna, but it was not too much mess. Jeanette is a good host who is very friendly and helpful. We were really thankful that she responded very quickly in the last minute and her plans matched ours perfectly.

Beautiful cabin, perfect to families and also people new to the “Cabin” life. Very nice area, clean cabin with everything you need as a family. Nice location, and close to Finland for shopping etc. highly recommended!

Cabin paradise in upper Neiden

We spent a weekend there and from the moment we saw the cabin we knew it was going to be an amazing weekend. We got impressed once again once we entered the cabin. We were greeted by stunning aesthetics of open surroundings that maintained a sense of privacy. The sauna was an amazing addition to our experience. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean and tidy, and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need. Needless to say, we had an amazing time.

A spacious living area is presented with large windows that offer views of the snowy landscape outside. Natural wood paneling adorns the ceiling and walls, contributing to a warm ambiance.
