Cabin vacation rentals in Kinkaid Lake

This cabin/lodge was a very unexpected find in a more rural area of southeast Missouri! Ideal location for us to drive to local small towns in surrounding area or head to the city. The cabin had beautiful outdoor scenery and the inside had a charming rustic vibe. We very much enjoyed our visit and found the place to be very clean and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Jen is a fantastic host. The place is wonderful, plenty full of things around if you forget something she has you covered with most essentials. The only thing that could of went better for us is the weather. It rained hard the whole time we stayed but we still had a wonderful time, this place works for bad weather and staying indoors. The final day was sunny when loading up to leave, we caught a big Bluegill before leaving . She is planning on putting in a dock and that will make this place much better even know it's already perfect. Thanks for sharing your home and we will return soon. We had a great time!

Beautiful, relaxing trip we had! Little ones loved fishing (although there was alot of muck around bank) it didn’t stop them from having a great time! We will visit again.

Our group of long time friends had a great time there. The house is great and had lots of amenities. Very roomy and had one of the best stocked kitchens I’ve seen for a rental. We enjoyed the game room, fire pit and large deck. We would definitely rent there again! The host is quick to respond to any questions we had.

This was by far the best little vacation we have had in a long time. The cabin was perfect for two of us. The lake with the canoe made for perfect fishing. I was able to travel around the property on foot. Very private and beautiful. The owner Tony is very nice, attentive, and seems like a wonderful guy. The owners really have provided everything you could think of. Loved everything about our stay and are already trying to find dates to come out again!

Amazing place with everything you could need

We had a great weekend at the Tiny Cabin. We spent the evenings on the back deck enjoying the view of the water and the cozy vibe of the fire. The cabin has everything you could need! We mentioned this quite a few times while we were there. On Saturday, we enjoyed a hike at Ferne Clyffe State Park and spent the afternoon at Blue Sky Winery. Enjoy coming to this area and will be back again!

We had a great time & really enjoyed the cabin! The place is very nice, well kept, & super peaceful. Of course the best part was the hot tub. It was very clean, easy to use, & very relaxing! We will be back!

The perfect relaxing cabin. A short drive from gorgeous wineries and a quick walk to a beautiful hiking trail where we found over 12 mushroom species. Highly recommend this host!

We love hiking so we visited the Garden of the Gods, the Little Grand Canyon and the Giant City Nature Trail. This cabin is in a great location for visiting the Shawnee National Forest and perfect place to unwind after a day of hiking. The grill for making dinner was so clean, as well as the hot tub for relaxing. Also a fire pit out back. The kitchen had everything you could need. Shampoo and conditioner were also provided. This is by far the best Airbnb I have visited, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! We had a great time :)

What a beautiful cabin close to the Shawnee National forest and numerous other states parks and wilderness areas. We had everything we needed and more. The beds are super comfortable, the kitchen well stocked with appliances and utensils, and the hot tub clean and spacious and oh so relaxing. The outdoor space is pristine, comfortable, and a great place to gather. We'll worth the trip!

Phillip was a great host, the cabin was perfect for my wife and to really enjoy a peaceful stay. He was very responsive and friendly. Great location! Great Host! Great Cabin. My wife and I will definitely be back to enjoy the beautiful and peaceful location again.

I absolutely loved staying in the Wildflower Cabin and will be back! This place was beautifully decorated, down to the smallest detail. The location felt magical and I can’t wait to revisit! Perfect girls trip, getaway with loves of hiking - and of course, a trip to the local winery.

Best Airbnb we have stayed in as family! Very clean and organized and had everything we needed. The layout of the house was perfect for a mom! My husband and I stayed in the master and the master bath was big enough for a pack n play for our youngest. The 2nd bedroom is right across the hall where our older two slept and everything was open and could be together for meals. The home was bright and well decorated, but not full of stuff and very kid friendly! The property was beautiful with privacy and enjoyed coffee on the deck! About 25 min from family friendly hikes at Giant city State park, and about an hour from Garden of the Gods and East hikes. Would highly recommend!

I REALLY ENJOYED THIS PROPERTY. IT IS IN A GREAT AREA AND I LOVED THE UNIQUENESS OF THE BUILDING. LARRY WAS AWESOME.

We enjoyed the beautiful wide porch with lots of bird sitings and the small lake with lots of turtles sunning themselves. Very peaceful!

Quaint little cabin in a very quiet area, but close to Carbondale IL. Place was very clean, easy to find and exactly as described. Great place for price! Would definitely stay again.

The house was as expected from the pictures. It was very clean. The beds were comfortable and sheets were soft. The bath towels were very nice. Really enjoyed the trails behind the house to walk with the kids and dogs. House was very nicely decorated and the kids liked laying on the fluffy rug in the bunk room. We did not use the gazebo but would be very nice to sit around and talk around the fire if we would’ve had time. Highly recommend.

Mercedes went above and beyond for us! Our stay was a short last minute trip and her quick response time was impressive! Very friendly and compassionate to help us get settled in quickly, so we could attend to what we came for. The place was very clean and the peaceful surroundings were the perfect atmosphere for us. Thank you Mercedes, we will definitely visit again!

We loved staying at Hannah's cabin. It is so remote and peaceful. We sat outside under the stars at night and really enjoyed the screened in porch and the creek behind the cabin. We will definitely return.
