Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Kingsdown

Just had another wonderful stay at Sea Sprite! Susan is an exceptional host who really wants her guests to have the best possible stay. The cottage is super clean and very well equipped with many basics provided. Susan has chosen very tasteful furnishings which make the cottage a really pleasant place to stay. The bed is really comfortable and plenty of towels are provided. The location is perfect - in the quiet historic part of town within a short walk of the many good restaurants, cafes and pubs in Deal. We will be back as soon as we can!

We stayed at Fox Barn over the May half term and, considering it was the school holidays, it was incredibly good value for money. Howard was very responsive to any queries we had and provided us with a great list of things to do and places to eat prior to us travelling down. We found Fox Barn to be perfect for our needs for a week. We were lucky with the weather but the location is absolutely perfect for exploring all that the Kent coastline has to offer. We enjoyed trips to Margate, Broadstairs, Botany Bay and Deal which are all within an hours drive and the kids loved the sandy beaches (particularly at Broadstairs). We also enjoyed Wingham Wildlife Park and Betteshanger Park, riding the mountain bike trails, as well doing some Park Run tourism at Pegwell Bay. For fans of the outdoors there really is so much to do. Fox Barn itself is a wonderful space with excellent size bedrooms, kitchen and a great dining area which we used as a family most mornings. We would happily visit again!

Booked this for my Husbands 70th. 5 couples so, having a bedroom with en-suite for everyone was a real find. The location was superb, everything in walking distance. Sally provided recommendations for a dinner on the Saturday evening. We went to the Royal Hotel (across the road). It was a perfect w/e and the weather helped. We had sea views and right on the front. Cinema room in the basement was fab and we couldn’t fault a thing. Thanks Sally

The House was perfect for a relaxing weekend of family time. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked with all the equipment we needed for a large family that enjoys cooking, eating, and drinking well. We felt right at home and had a very special, relaxing and fun few days.

Spent a wonderful few days at this charming period house. Beautifully furnished and decorated, spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped, right down to coffee pods. Emma was super friendly and helpful from the moment we booked. Would highly recommend this house in beautiful Deal.

What a fabulous apartment. The location was amazing and we loved sitting in the large front window watching the world go by right on the seafront. The proximity to town was also a bonus as there were many lovely places to eat! The apartment was much bigger than expected and had everything we might possibly need. One particular plus point was the the bed in the master bedroom which was super comfortable. We will definitely be back, hopefully later this year. Thank you!

This flat is in a prime position to walk to Deal pier pubs restaurants and shops. It is a well appointed and comfortable flat if you don’t mind double stairways. A little bit noisy at night sometimes but not really an issue. The position is worth it. Thanks Kay

This is a great place to stay for a short break or a working visit to Margate. Everything I needed for my stay in a nice location close to the seafront.Will definitely be back.

Great studio for a quick stay in Whitstable! Sian was helpful communicative. We enjoyed the easy access to all that Whitstable has to offer. Enjoyed the care the hosts took to curate a small space to the guests needs.

Clear instructions with a face-to-face greeting and guide us an apartment tour. The apartment look exactly the same as photos shown in web. Excellent cleanliness by the owner, feels like home! Complimentary Breakfast with yogurt, croissants, drinks and all sorts of stuff that you need in kitchen. Vintage flowery toilet is a highlight too Looking forward to return soon.

Sue was terrific. She could not have been more accommodating when our party of 3 became 4 (to include a young grandson) and she provided us with cereals and goodies for him and a bed guard rail. Her lovely apartment is beautiful, light, airy and comfortably furnished with excellent quality appliances and fixtures/fittings. The beds were wonderfully comfortable. This is my 2nd visit to Richard’s property and I still love it as much as I did the first time. Right in the centre of Canterbury, it’s a perfect location for shops, museums, transport etc. The apartment has everything in it you need and is very comfortable. All contact with Richard is fast and friendly. His written instructions are very clear on accessing the apartment too. Fab place, fab City, fab host.

Great space for larger families with adult kids especially with one bedroom on lower floor and also having three separate bathrooms. View amazing. Relaxing airy feel. Big bedrooms. Will be back again.

Tom’s place was perfect for our Canterbury visit. It was exceptionally clean, great location with amazing river views, all the attractions and restaurants were a short walk away. His apartment was beautifully decorated and modern with an excellent kitchen and bathroom. Tom was very friendly and great communicator. I highly recommend his beautiful apartment.
