We had a lovely stay here, Nick was an excellent host, greeted us on arrival and very helpful with local info. Nick responded almost immediately to messages and had the pool ready for us to use as and when we requested. The kids had so much fun in the pool, the floats and toys left out to use were an added bonus! House was spotless and perfectly equipped. Would definitely Recommend and would happily return. I stayed for my 30th birthday celebrations and had the best time ever. This place was perfect! the decor, the location, the surroundings and most importantly Karen and her husband was so friendly and lovely and ensured I had a special birthday. I’ve stayed at Airbnb’s before and I’ve never had a host as lovely as Karen was, the perfect host we could have wish for. The swimming pool was amazing and me and my family had a wonderful time enjoying it in the sun with a BBQ. The cottage was spotless and a welcome hamper was provided and every little detail was perfect. The garden area was beautiful through out the day and so peaceful and relaxing. I honestly can’t recommend this place enough, it was truly perfect and I will definitely be staying again and recommending to everyone I know! Thank you again for making it such a special birthday x

We were very impressed on arrival. Lovely peaceful grounds, pool bigger than we’d expected and great games area. Good place to stay with our extended family, good central location, really enjoyed nearby Canterbury. We were lucky with the weather. We visited Howletts zoo & 2 different sea-sides. The house is quite warm, it’s great fans are provided in all bedrooms. Improvements- Need better extraction for the kitchen- & update the book on what to do if the smoke alarm goes off! The agency were quick to help but with poor phone signal this was tricky to arrange. Bigger beds/ new mattresses Downstairs loo had no toilet lid Other reviews mentioned cobwebs & the place seeming a bit ‘tired’, I’d agree with some of that but it didn’t stop us having a wonderful time & a few cobwebs don’t bother me, everything else was clean and we’d love to return .

This was our second visit to the Lighthouse and it still is an amazing place, from the panoramic sea views to a lovely warm inviting home. A dip in the pool before breakfast, sitting with a coffee watching the seascape, as far as Essex and beyond, sunsets and so much more. I will make the same comment as I did last, this goes for the whole of our party across 3 generations and the dogs, the only bad thing about the Lighthouse is having to leave. Hopefully this will not be our last visit.

This house has absolutely everything you could ever want or need. Swimming pool is great and heated to a perfect temp for the kids. House is enormous and every little thing seems to have been thought of by the hosts including extras such as dressing gowns for all guests, soap, shampoo and a hairdryer in every room. Location is right on the coast with great views out the front of the sea. Garden is lovely. Would recommend to anyone. Thanks Alan and Bill

We had a great stay at Simon's place - the house was full of charm and a great size for our group of 8. It was a great location, Simon is a responsive host and answered all my questions.

Superb location overlooking the sea and with many and varied eating places in the vicinity. Lovely to have two lounges overlooking the sea and a large farmhouse table in the well resourced kitchen. Some superb historic and cultural places to visit nearby including: Margate (40 mins by train) to see Turners’ Contemporary Art Museum and also Tracey Emin’s Art Studios; Canterbury Cathedral (40 mins by bus) to see the historic and spectacular first cathedral in Engkand and St Augustine’s Abbey in such a beautiful city; Dover (20 mins s by car) to see the Historic Castle, Tunnels and White Cliffs; Ramsgate (bus/car 15 min drive) to see a classic Victorian Seaside with an unusual Wetherspoons built into the Pavillion; Broadstairs (10 mins drive further) to see Charles Dickens houses which inspired him to write - including Bleak House; Deal itself with its Saturday afternoon outdoor market and a 15 minute walk to the very significant Walker Castle. An amazing week with plenty of varied sigh

lovely detached house right on the seafront. The terrace has stunning sea views and great sunsets. The 5 bedrooms are all very nice and offer some flexibility with twins and doubles. We loved the seaside themed decor and nice touches like blankets. Nice host who gave very clear instructions. very clean and the kitchen was well stocked.

Thank you Katie for another memorable stay at Coast Cottage. It's such a lovely space and the garden is paradise at the moment being literally a riot of colour. It's peaceful and the house is attractively furnished with a kitchen that has everything you're likely to need. Thank you too Katie for the delicious chocolate ginger biscuits. To my mind the only place to stay in Deal.

The house is absolutely beautiful! Lovely decor and great art on the walls from which we took great pleasure admiring. We enjoyed sitting looking out at the garden with a glass of wine and the music room is just superb. Duran Duran on vinyl followed by some kraftwerk … what’s not to love! Can’t recommend it enough. We will definitely be back. Thanks guys!!

We really enjoyed staying at Amy’s place. The cottage is very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Amy was a helpful and responsive host. The location is superb, our first time in Rye but we will be back. We particularly enjoyed brunch at The Fig and dinner at The Union in Rye and The George Hotel has a lovely courtyard for drinks. Thank you Amy.

Beautiful place, with amazing views. Quiet and well equipped. We slept well, had wonderful walks along the beach with unspoiled views. The Snack Shark was a gem, we had delicious and fresh seafood for lunch. Also bought some scallops, potatos, asparagus and local pear juice for dinner. The host even provided fresh milk, flowers and grapes, well received upon our arrival. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Great house, the photos didn’t do it justice honestly. Lots of space and well designed, clutter free which made it feel very peaceful to relax in. All 3 bedrooms were large, 2 good bathrooms and a huge living and kitchen space. Pristine and very clean. Outside space was fantastic, 3 areas in total; a great sun trap in the garden with 2 good sized sofas, a table with 2 long benches on the patio and then a lovely wooden table with chairs outside the kitchen. Great views and the huge living room window is a great window to the green fields. Great location, walkable easily to Deal (with pubs along the way with Zetland Arms and Kings head as our favourites) and to Dover. Easy to find. Easy driving. Easy to deal with Sara and Freddie. Highly recommend.

This is an amazing Airbnb in a fantastic spot in Deal. The property was large and immaculately clean, the kitchen and downstairs area was well setup for meals. It’s situated less than 1 minute from the beach and is just off the high street meaning there are plenty of food and drink options within walking distance. It’s also less than a 10min walk from the station which was ideal for our group as we did not have a car. The host is incredibly friendly and responsive making the whole stay seamless. We would go back to this Airbnb in a heartbeat and would highly recommend it to everyone else!

Great location, right across the street from the beach, the city center, and necessities. Walking distance to the Western Heights which can be accessible at any time and only a 5 minute drive to the white cliffs and Dover castle.

Stephen was there to hand us the keys and gave us a quick tour of the house. A lovely little house with everything needed for a break and three minutes walk from the town centre. We'd definitely stay again. Try the Crispin Inn pub if you stay - most superb!

Lovely house in a great location. Deceptively large with nice outside seating area. Walking distance to the beach and many bars and restaurants which are buzzing.

We enjoyed 3 nights here and found it very clean, with a lovely garden and had everything you need plus the bonus of a secure off street parking space. Just a few minutes walk to a fabulous coastal path taking you into Deal with plenty going on. We had a fabulous meal in The Rose hotel which allows dogs and it is also worth a trip to the Zealand Arms for a lunch on the beach.
