Monthly Rentals in Kietzersee

It was a wonderful and special stay on the estate. We had the apartment under the roof with a view of the estate park, the G. Seitz Museum and the beautiful church tower. Unfortunately, when we arrived on Saturday shortly after 12 noon, the farm shop was already closed. So we drove by bike and train shortly to Müncheberg, where we could buy everything for our stay at a Netto. At this point, we would like to commend the service of the rail replacement service. We were asked if we wanted to get on the bus with our bikes. This is generally possible, but wheelchairs and strollers have priority. Tip: If you are coming from Berlin and feel like a wildly romantic bike tour - get off in Werbig and let the Komoot app navigate you to Trebnitz (about 20 km). Wonderful! Back there is a great tour, which partly leads over the European Cycling Route. It is about 40 km long and leads to Strausberg, where you can get on the S-Bahn.

I mainly visited relatives and made a couple of excursions. I can only recommend it.

We felt very comfortable in the apartment in Altfriedland and recovered wonderfully. In two other apartments of the house were at the same time family members of the owners and were very friendly. The lake in front of you with the bathing jetty is definitely a highlight. The neighboring monastery tavern, which is open on Fridays, is worth a visit and there are nice restaurants in the recommended village of Buckow. If you want peace and quiet, this is the place to be!

I would definitely recommend it! Jacek and his wife made me very welcome. During my stay I had very windy, cold, uncomfortable weather (for May). Jacek showed me his heating system, which I could turn on by remote control for my little room. That was my salvation and I had it very comfortable! There is also a nice offer of eggs, homemade jam or kimchi from the two. I felt very comfortable on the premises in the end. (Although I'm sometimes afraid of dogs :-)) Note: The dog hair on the cover did not bother me, otherwise I would have said something. Everyone has to decide for themselves. -> Bring provisions & warm clothes -> If you come by bike, it's best to come via the main road and not straight past the dinosaur. The dirt road was covered with quicksand and I could only push part of the way.
