Waterfront vacation rentals in Keauhou Bay

Wonderful place to stay. We felt right at home, it was clean and peaceful. Easy location to walk to shops and surrounding areas. Absolutely beautiful view. We will be staying there again.

We immediately felt right at home and welcomed by Regina and Scott. From the well organized binder of information to every amenity one might need, this is THE place to spend a week. When not running out to the sites on the Big Island, this property will meet all your needs. The room was quiet and had easy access. We could easily walk to town or have dinner on our private lanai while watching the sunset. When the staff blows the conch shells at sunset, all will be right in your world.

The condo had everything we needed and looked just like the photos. The beach gear was a fantastic touch, making our beach days effortless and fun. The fully stocked kitchen was nice—we loved being able to buy fresh fruit and prepare it at home. The bed was comfortable, and while there’s no AC in the bedroom, the fan kept the space comfortable. The location was conveniently located - only a 2-minute drive to the closes white sand beach and 15-20 minutes to Costco and Walmart. The street outside can be a bit loud from the passing cars, so the lanai wasn’t the quietest spot to relax, but it wasn’t an issue inside, and we slept well. Check-in and checkout were seamless, with clear and easy-to-follow instructions. Tom was an excellent host—he was proactive and highly responsive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Overall, a well-equipped and conveniently located stay that made our trip enjoyable!

We chose Chris's place for the gorgeous view and nearness to the ocean. We were not disaeppointed; we spent all the time we were there, except for sleeping and showering, on the lanai, looking out on the ocean. We fell easily asleep to the sound of the waves. The sea breeze and the fans were sufficient to cool the apartment. When it was time for us to leave for the airport, we packed our car and gave ourselves some extra time to just sit on the lanai one last time, loving the view. I don't think I will ever forget it. We were impressed by the well-stocked kitchen and most appreciative. Beyond salt, pepper, and evo, there were spices and condiments, rice (and a rice cooker!) and soy sauce, and even some cocktail makings. The pots and pans and knives were excellent. It was no struggle at all to prepare meals and clean up with the help of a full-size dishwasher. An initial stop at a 24-hr safeway and one more trip were all we needed, plus a trip to an amazing fishmonger.

Our stay was in a great location in Kailua Kona with lots of local sights and an amazing view. Betsy and Bobby were great hosts and were always responsive. There was a small issue with the kitchen sink and as soon as we let Betsy know, they immediately came over and had the faucet replaced. We started and ended our days and nights on the lanai sipping coffee or a cocktail while taking in the amazing views. The unit had everything we needed including beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, fins and goggles. The kitchen and bedroom are stocked with everything you need for a great vacation. We highly recommend this great place and we will stay here again the next time we plan a trip to the big island. Mahalo!

Just like the photos-right on the water in a nice complex with a clean pool and nice amenities. Our kiddo loved having beach toys and we appreciated the chairs, umbrella and cooler. Marta was an amazing host, helping coordinate check in and out times with our flights, without me even having to ask. The only downside we felt was that it’s not particularly walkable-you have to get in the car for most things. This, of course, is not the hosts fault and overall we really enjoyed our stay, just an FYI if you don’t know the area well.

Simply put, Abra's place is much much better than it looks in the pictures. The place could have not been more peaceful, situated right next to a wonderful beach. There is a swimming pool and a restaurant! We loved our time in Big Island and we think that Abra's place played an important role in how much we loved our experience!

Awesome ocean view on balcony. Close enough to hear the ocean waves breaking on the lava rocks. Great amenities and ample parking. Peaceful easy feeling. We will be back!

Our stay was incredible. They had everything you could want or need. Beach umbrellas, chairs, snorkel gear, water shoes, sand toys and so many beach towels. Our large group was comfortable and the home was spacious with many lovely outdoor areas to enjoy. We had the most wonderful relaxing stay and would recommend this home to anyone.

We stayed at Peter and Lori’s for the last few days of our honeymoon and were blown away! The pictures don’t do the property justice at all. Between the waterfront access (with kayaks and paddle boards provided), the spacious living area/stocked kitchen, and even Peter letting us have fresh fruits from their trees, we couldn’t have had a better experience!!! Peter was there to help us when needed, but also let us explore how we wanted. We also loved utilizing the Manta Ray/snorkeling experiences that he recommended just a walk down the street in the same bay. We didn’t want to leave and cannot wait to come back! The place was very beautiful and well located near all the beach fun. The views and ocean breezes were incredible and my family loved it. We left the windows open in the evening and in lulled us to sleep at night. We explored the rocky beach in the backyard and had fun looking for treasures. Our family will be back again soon!! We throughly enjoyed our stay! Pictures simply do not do justice to the stunning views and gorgeous sunsets!! The home is spacious, extremely comfortable, well stocked, and the big island decor was perfect!! Would recommend without hesitation and hope to return again soon.

We loved our stay at Mary’s place! Although it was a little more remote than expected, we appreciated the access to the different beautiful beaches in the neighborhood. The snorkeling at Manini Beach was spectacular! Because we had our 8 month old granddaughter with us, we also spent a lot of time in the beautiful pool. The “glamping” aspect of our stay was fun and we enjoyed the sounds of nature, particularly our rooster alarm at the crack of dawn which certainly helped us get our days started. We would highly recommend Mary’s place and wouldn’t hesitate staying again when on the island.

The home is wonderfully decorated, comfortable and has stunning views of beach. The floor plan gives great communal space and privacy for quiet times. Well appointed kitchen and great place to grill. Dave was incredibly nice and helpful! Families will love it and we will definitely come back.

We had a great stay. The house was perfect for us. Great location, we love being up above town a bit. Quiet and peaceful at night with great sunsets and a great front lanai to hang out in the morning or evening. Hot tub was a bonus. Great neighborhood. The house was clean and comfortable and we would definitely stay here again.

Thank you for hosting us in your beautiful home on the ocean! We enjoyed watching the surfers and sunset daily from the lanai or floor to ceiling windows, the sound of the ocean waves so rhythmic and calming. The condo is quiet, the pool and hot tub are great after a day of exploring. The kitchen was decently stocked to prepare daily meals and the condo was clean and well taken care of. The location was excellent, close to town/restaurants in one direction and beaches for snorkeling and picnicking in the other direction. Jennifer had snorkeling equipment, boogie boards and picnic coolers available for our use. We also had a designated, covered parking spot with secure, but easy access to condo. A wonderful stay! I hope our family can return again one day!

Awesome location and beautiful view! We loved our stay and can’t wait to return. Barry is an amazing host, very quick to respond and instructions for check in and check out were very simple. The place was equipped with everything we needed and more. Also, a huge plus to have an assigned parking spot right outside of the unit! We loved visiting the restaurant conveniently located downstairs and we always had the pool to ourselves. The tide was a bit rough during our stay so we didn’t end up swimming at the beach just outside the complex, but we still enjoyed sitting and watching the waves.

We loved our stay here while visiting family nearby. We have a family of 5 - so having the 3rd sofa bed was helpful. View of ocean was perfect for morning coffee or evening drinks. Kids loved the pool area, which was close by the unit and was never crowded. We only needed the ac units at night, as a nice breeze goes through the condo during the day using the screen doors.

Great little place for all your Big Island adventures! The water toys are a massive bonus. Traffic noise can be loud but the view of the ocean and the spectacular sunsets totally offset that.

The attention to detail in this updated condo is apparent. It is appointed with guests in mind--USB charging stations, water play equipment, well stocked kitchen, cooler, containers and ice for picnics... The waterfront location was great even though this isn't an ocean-facing unit, it is in a location that other occupants aren't walking by the front door, which is nice. Although we didn't use the pool, it was a nice little feature and appeared very well-maintained. We used the AC both for cooling the bedroom and to blur the traffic noise from the busy street below. It did the trick for both!

This condo is right on the water - nothing but a strip of lawn between you and the water. It has a nice lanai ( balcony) with a dining table and chairs for four and a couple of lounge chairs. The kitchen is reasonably well kitted out. Paul was exceptionally responsive and nice.
