Beautiful place, our room was better than the photos. Close to many great food spots but also has a full kitchen if you want to make some meals in. Beds were comfy and everything was very clean. Wish we stayed longer, my family had no complaints.

Thoroughly enjoy our stay at this well equiped, freshly renovated condo. Amazing views of the ocean and next to the pool. Central to all the cool attractions the Big Island has to offer.

We stayed for a week at this home at Kona Makai. This home is perfect, we would not hesitate to book again and will hopefully be staying here again in the future. The location of this property is amazing. The Kona Makai Complex sits right on the ocean, with beautiful landscaping, plants and flowers all around the property. The pool and hot tub are meticulously maintained and the outdoor grilling and casita area is amazing! The property is off of the road enough to be quiet and relaxing, but close enough you can walk into downtown if you don't mind a little walk! Kari Lynn and Darryl are amazing hosts who want to share their beautiful home with others. They were extremely helpful and easy to contact/communicate with. This property has everything you could ask for and more! you will not be disappointed if you decide to stay at this home!

Maxx was very accommodating to us as there was hiccup in renting out the Escape to Mauna Loa Village and gave us another space to spend the rest of our trip. It was very clean, easily accessible, and a perfect location for exploring Kona. I would definitely love to book with Maxx again in the future!

Our stay was perfect, even with a few hiccups Conor was responsive & made it right within minutes. The condo is beautiful & well taken care of. I loved how clean & insect free it was. The living & dining furniture is not comfy but we did not use it much, so didn’t really care. It’s equipped with everything you need besides supplies like cooking spray, seasonings, food storage but other than that you will have everything you need when you walk through the door.

Borg was one of the best hosts we ever had, he was extremely good communicating. I would not hesitate coming back to his place. The place was actually better than pictures. We had no problems at all.

Joseph’s place was fantastic for us! The location was excellent within walking distance of downtown Kona. The general grounds and facilities are beautiful and meticulously looked after. We found that it was was extremely quiet and rest was no problem. Plenty of parking so this was never a problem. Bed was comfortable too. Condo was very spacious and had everything we could possibly need including washer and dryer. Loved sitting on the lanai for our morning coffee and meals. We could not have asked for a better host! Joseph was very accommodating and kind and quick to respond to every message we sent him. The next time we return to Kona we will be checking to see if Joseph’s place is available first!

The condo's kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies and spices. There were plenty of snorkels, masks, and towels. The condo was clean. The grounds were well maintained with flowers everywhere. I enjoyed the pool, hot tub, ping pong, and fitness room. Watching the sunsets every evening was a perk. I would stay here again.

We got the 2 BR suite with full kitchen. The rooms were clean and well stocked. The location is about 10-15 minutes from downtown Kona.

We loved our stay in Kona at Michael’s place. It’s well located, clean, amenities and very comfortable. We would definitely book again and recommend to other hosts.

We enjoyed our stay at the Octo-Condo! It was perfect for our family of 3 (husband, adult daughter, & me). Daughter enjoyed the loft space but left her suitcase downstairs due to tight spiral stairs. Not a big deal for us. Kitchen had all we needed for meals. So nice that they allow some items kept in the fridge for the next guests like mayo, mustard, butter, etc. We did run out of toilet paper with about 2 days left of our trip (bought some), so having more rolls available would be nice. About a mile walk into town of Kona-Kailua along the main roadway (Ali'i Dr.) Safe location, daughter felt safe running the neighborhood in the mornings. On-site pool, tennis courts, and BBQ were nice. Gorgeous ocean front view on property with a relaxing view from condo lanai. Very quiet complex which was perfect for us! Very nice beaches and snorkeling a short drive away. Close to restaurants--Lava Java has lovely breakfast! Big Island is beautiful-so much to see & tons of turtles!

We had a wonderful time during our stay! The house was clean and spacious, and we truly appreciated the quiet ambiance near the condo pool. It made us feel safe and comfortable. We can't wait to return, as we genuinely enjoyed the house, the condo, and the entire area. It felt like a perfect getaway for our family!

We recently stayed at Janet apartment in the Makai Condominiums for the Ironman in Kailua-Kona, and it was fantastic! The location was absolutely perfect for the event, making all our logistics smooth and convenient. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and fully stocked with everything we could possibly need, creating a relaxing atmosphere that was ideal in the lead-up to the race. One of our favorite aspects was the shared amenities – the swimming pool and hot tub were perfect for unwinding, and the sunsets from there were simply breathtaking. Watching the sky turn vibrant colors over the water made every evening memorable. Overall, it was an excellent stay that contributed so much to our Ironman experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and relaxing place in Kailua-Kona!

It was a lovely two bedroom townhome, walking distance up the hill to shopping and a movie theater, walking downhill to the beach and snorkeling and restaurants. The pool and workout room were nice. Felt very secure. Excellent for families. Definitely felt like I got my moneys worth.

This was the nicest place we have stayed. Everything we needed was there and more. The host was very responsive and gracious. We would definitely recommend this place and we would stay again

Our entire party of 7 enjoyed the place thoroughly. Our 9 ye old son was the one who enjoyed it the most as he had the whole entertainment living room to himself self and even used it as his bedroom. Although no AC except in two on the rooms we did not need to turn it on due to the breeze that came through the windows. It was so fresh day in and out for me. Rooms are equipped with fans through the other rooms and that’s all we needed. The place had everything we needed to cook a few breakfast meals and dinner. The views amazing and in love with the plants all around the house. So glad we could get our laundry out of the way before come back home as well. Would definitely recommend staying here. Felt right at home.

We loved our stay at Joy's place! It was clean and spacious with a beautiful view toward the ocean. The facilities were lovely and the pools were quiet - the perfect spot to watch the stunning Kona sunsets. We could easily walk to restaurants and shops in Kona and enjoyed the beaches nearby. Joy was extremely responsive and helpful throughout the booking and check-in process. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for paradise in Kona.

Location is flawless, right by the water. Property is right next to a wonderful bar and restaurant, as well as White Sands Beach.

We had a fabulous stay! There were 6 adults with 2 little ones (1.5 and 3.5 years). The home was roomy and bigger than the pictured. We all were amazed at the home and ocean views. The kids had plenty of room to play. The kitchen was well stocked and organized. The beach toys were put to good use. The hot tub got used once. There was parking for 3 cars. All in all, the home worked out so well, I would rent it again!

We had the absolute best time at Elliott’s place. We’ve been traveling to Hawai’i for years, different islands, and this has been the best stay we’ve had. Our kids (4 and 2) loved the place, from the pool to the playground and the bunk beds. The extra bedroom/office and gym were perfect. But the view and sunsets were by far the best, out of this world. We’ll choose this place for any future trips to Big Island. Elliott was the best host, super responsive at all times and extremely helpful.

This house is on a hill, so it has a great view of the ocean. There is also a swing upstairs that allows you to enjoy the tranquility of the island, this is something we enjoyed doing in the mornings. The house itself is well equipped with everything you might need from sunscreen, band-aids, dish detergent, and laundry detergent (which was a great surprise!). Everything in the home is well thought about. It almost feels like a family lives there and they leave their house with all their belongings for us to use. Our stay was pleasant and comfortable.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the Royal Sea Cliff. The condo was very clean and quiet and close to parking. The living room sofa looked worn, but it was clean and comfortable. The Kitchen was well stocked, except for a couple of pans that were burnt beyond use. We used the outdoor grill that was a few steps away from our door, and we had all the tools we needed to make some great meals. The ice chests were a plus, as were the beach chairs and mats. The washer and dryer worked well, and having detergent pods provided was also appreciated. The lanai was a very nice place for breakfast and to relax in the evenings. The grounds were immaculate. The pools and pool area were clean and well kept. My only real complaint was the bed. Putting a memory foam pad on a worn mattress didn't make it comfortable for me. In spite of that, we would recommend it to our friends and family.
